Alrighty, I made something of a Novelty team by cloning my MYSTRY Mews in Emerald, teaching em Move Tutor moves and migrating 'em.

    Here's my team:

    Mew@Choice Specs
    Dragon Pulse
    Flamethrower
    Dark Pulse
    Aura Sphere

Just your average sweeper set. Dragon Pulse and Flamethrower cover every pokemon with at least neutral damage except Heatran. Aura Sphere for Heatran, Dark Pulse for enemy psychics.

    Mew @ Choice Band
    Dragon Claw
    Fire Punch
    Earthquake
    Faint Attack

Fire Punch from Emerald, Faint Attack from XD, and this has virtually the same strategy as Mew#1

    Mew@???
    Barrier
    Amnesia
    Baton Pass
    Softboiled

Barrier and Amnesia up, and then pass them on to someone who needs them. I could have used Roost for healing, but Softboiled looks better.

    Mew@???
    Nasty Plot
    Swords Dance
    Baton Pass
    Roost

After BPing from the Barrier Amnesia Mew, Nasty Plot and Swords Dance, depending on which Sweeper will be passed to.

    Mew@???
    Hypnosis
    Will-O-Wisp
    Thunder Wave
    Baton Pass/U-turn

Not sure which move to use. U-turn allows me to do damage while avoiding pursuit. Baton Pass allows me to pass in from another Mew, and pass out again, still avoiding Pursuit. And three Status Moves, because it's FUN.

    Mew@Leftovers
    Softboiled
    Substitute
Toxic/Seismic Toss/Night Shade It's still in Emerald, with Night Shade, but which move?
    Baton Pass

Pretty Obvious, but I'm not sure about one move.

    A team of Mews? <_<;

A team of Mews will share the same weaknesses, leaving it completely open to Gengar. Plus, what would you have to gain by using a whole team of Mew? How about using only one Mew and using some other Pokemon like Giratina and Deoxys for uber battles? Mew isn't the best uber pokemon anyways. This team will not guarantee you many wins.

Hate to tell you this is total fail. Mew is an uber, but it pales in comparison compared to others in the tier. It cannot sweep, wall or anything when placed with the likes of deoxys or groudon. This is like inviting choice specs mewtwo for dinner, its just gonna munch you all up. Your best bet is to keep one as a baton passer and create an entirly new team.

I think he knows that, comepletely. Hence why he said novelty team. The same with Anti-Pop's Blissey team. We at least gotta make it work the best it can. Obvious limitations, but the best it could be. Which isn't much, admittidly, but still.

Aha, i missed the novelty bit :)
In that case as far as a mew team can go it may work, but EVs would help us make sure of that.

Mew 1-why doesn't it get STAB? Replace Dark Pulse with Psychic.
Mew 2-Faith Attack? Why not Shadow Claw? Why not Brick Break insted of Fire Punch?
Mew 3(@Lum Berry)- it needs some sort of attack. Use-Calm Mind, Psychic/Dragon Pulse, Baton Pass, Softboild/Rock Polish.
Mew 4(@Lum Berry)-Use a set reversed to the former: Bulk Up, Dragon Claw/Waterfall, Baton Pass, Amnesia/Softboild/Rock Slide.
Mew 5(@leftovers)-What the rabbit? Nasty Plot, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Shadow Ball/Dark Pulse.
Mew 6(@Lum Berry is also great)-Calm Mind, Will-o-Wisp, Psychic/Dragon Pulse, Softboild.

Psychic is the WORST attack type you can use in ubers.

Because Metagross and Forretress happen to be very common.

BP Mew doesn't need attacks, it just passes boosts.

    Bulk Up helps with what?

Mew 5(@leftovers)-What the rabbit? Nasty Plot, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Shadow Ball/Dark Pulse.

lol, Hypnosis / Dream Eater is a terrible combo. also there is sleep clause :/

Mew 6(@Lum Berry is also great)-Calm Mind, Will-o-Wisp, Psychic/Dragon Pulse, Softboild.

One attacking move that has terrible coverage? Um what the?

Fun little team you've got there, probably needs more attacking. Also passing to a choice item user is a bad bad bad idea. CB Mew used Dragon Claw! It killed it! Out comes Metagross! Pursuit! Bye bye Mew :(

It won't compete with any serious uber team in case you were wondering about that.

Do you have a Transform TM? I've got a great Scarf set...

well this team wont be the best team if there is a gengar it will tear thru ur team but the one with willo-wisp thunder wave and hypnosis wont be very good because once u inflict a status effect u cant do another (duh) so u will only have 1 move to actually damage and if the pokemon isnt weak to it ur done for...

Remember children, Gengar's Shadow Ball will NOT OHKO a Mew

Plus, who uses gengar in ubers when mewtwo is pretty much the super edition of him?

Pretty much what I've been dying to say.

People who use Gengar in ubers...lol. Try choice specs attack Deoxys, that's the real terror. hen again that's a given with a theme team like this.

There used to be a guy around here named Samson (not sure if he's still coming round), but he had an entire team made of Mews. It's of course a novelty, but I think it can work. Even with a common weakness, you can organize those sexy all-round 100 base stats in such a way that Mew can take a fair number of hits, even from a supereffective attack.

And Mew is a strange case; since he can learn literally every move possible, he can really do anything well. Walling, attacking, stalling, annoying. He can do it all. Perhaps not wall as well as Cresselia, or attack as well as Mewtwo, but Mew can do it either way!

Yeah, he's still here, abeit almost as rarely as you are. All that must be done is preparing for common type weaknesses, basically Hera, and faster darks. I say Scarf one of em.
