    Heylo Pokefans. I have got a new game! This is something I've done with my good buddy Waffle-San. Have you ever wished battle was more like in the anime? Well this is how you do it. Two players exchange moves and actions with the opponent through either this thread or PMs. I'll do a quick example. Player A and Player B and going to battle.

    A-I send out Rattata!
    B-I send out Heracross!
    A-Rattata use Quick Attack!
    B-It hits Heracross full on, Heracross use Close Combat!
    A-Ratta Dodge! Oh no it hit Rattata he's KO'd.

    But probably more drawn out and intense than that. So this would be a Tournament of that kind of Battle. This way, combos and dodging and movements are all the more realisitic.

    This will be a Tournament of Ten People, including myself. The first nine people to post here will get accepted to battle. After the first round, one loser will be brought back by popular vote.

    10-Shiraishi

    People who have battled alreayd first round are in red

    It used to be paired up, but now its a gong-show, so battle who you can who hasn;t been battled!
    It will be done as an elimination round, if you lose a battle, you will be eliminated from the tournament.
    A few basic rules about this.
    #1-The way you decide if your Pokemon wins or loses against your opponents is the type. If your opponent has type advantage, then you will lose,but you can do enough damage against him to make the next Pokemon you send out to have a quick win and continue. If your types are equal and have no advantages against each other, then I will post a random series of the numbers 1-4, and if the gen your Pokemon is from is on the right end of the sequence, then you loss, so like 1234 a Rattata would beat a Buneary. If they are of the same gen, then the lower number wins
    #2-No Sableye or Spiritomb, because they have no type weaknesses.
    #3-No Explosion/Self Destruct
    #4-4 moves per Pokemon, and they can be all moves learnable from any gen, learned, TM, breeding, or Tutor.
    #5-6 Pokemon allowed only, and no ubers. Except for Wobbufett.
    #6-No making all of your opponents moves miss just because you know you have to lose.

    Now the first battle will be 2 Pokemon per trainer, then the second round battle will be 4 Pokemon, and the final round will be 6 on 6.

    Now, if you think this is extremely lame, it is a Pokemon Forum, remember that. Now either PM me or post here if you're interested! I will keep a log of battles in this thread. And remember, build your team wisely.

    I'd like to join.

    Just a question: Are Legendaries of any kind allowed? I know you said "no ubers," but I don't think that covers things like Suicune, Zapdos, etc.

    Cool, Welcome! BTW you guys are together for first round 2 on 2 battle. And I have to add another rule, no changing Pokemon half-way into the tournament!

    Well I suggest just get 6 Pokes ready, but only use two, and you dont have to put your Pokemon here before-hand. Pokefan, you;re going to have to PM Jamie006 to start the battle, and then post here who the winner is so i can record it. BTW If anyone does get around to battling today, the 4 numbers for determining the winner if there is a type match are 1342. It would be nice if you waited till we had 8 people, but if you want to start then go ahead. If there is already a battle going on here, do a battle with PMS instead. and I've had my Pokresa ready for a day and a half now, with a few minor revisions.

    You could PM him, and remember guys, make sure not to cheat, and realize when you've lost. BTW using the location randomizer in my brain, you guys battle in a Rock Arena! Location can give you an edge, remember! And gen numbers today are 4213

    So basically choose a Pokemon to beat another one's pokemon?
