The Breakfast Challenge

    Breakfast Challenge​
    Two things that I love are…
    • Playing Pokemon
    • Eating breakfast
    But what if I was to combine the two? Would I get a sticky disaster of syrup and breadcrumbs jammed in my DS? I think not! By somehow relating pokemon to breakfast, the Breakfast Challenge was born!

    Basics:
    -You will need 4-6 pokemon for this challenge. This number will depend on what you choose to "eat."
    • Toast: Your favoritest pokemon (or, if you have about 20 like I do, pick 1 of them)
    • w/ butter? (optional): Least favorite pokemon
    • Pancakes: Pokemon that you think is super cute
    • w/ syrup (you guessed it! optional): Pokemon you think is… unappealing to the eyes…
    • Scrambled Eggs: Random Pokemon that will be assigned by the person who posts after you.
    • Beverages: (Pick 1)
    -Green Tea: Random Grass Type (your choice!)
    -Orange Juice: Random Fire Type (Will be chosen by the next person to post along with you scrambled eggs)
    -Milk: Random Ice Type (your choice!)
    -Water: Random Water Type (this pokemon, along with the Scrambled Egg Pokemon, will be picked by the next person to post)

    Rules:
    • Any Pokemon game may be used! (including emulators)
    • You can hack in as many or as few pokemon during your challenge! (Preferably towards the beginning of your journey)
    • You need to at least have a Toast, Pancake, Scrambled Egg and Beverage Pokemon (4 minimum)
    • You can add syrup and/or butter if you wish
    • You can use HM and pickup slaves, but only outside of battle
    • Absolutely no revive slaves!
    • You must put the word "indubitably" in your registration so that I know you read the rules (try to spell it correctly :P)
    • No Legendaries

    R/B/Y/FR/LG defeat the champion
    G/S/C/HG/SS defeat Red
    R/S/E defeat Steven (yes, even in Emerald!)
    D/P/PT defeat Cynthia the first time
    B/W defeat champion Alder

    Ultimate Breakfast
    Complete the challenge in all the games from 1 region
    R/B/Y- Kanto Breakfast
    FR/LG- Kanto Breakfast Plus
    G/S/C- Johto Breakfast
    HG/SS- Johto Breakfast Plus
    R/S/E- Hoenn Breakfast
    D/P/Pt- Sinnoh Breakfast
    B/W- Unova Breakfast

    Just a suggestions (I don't have time to partake in the Challenge I'm afraid :() but why not add tea or coffee to the beverages bit? Tea could be a random Grass-type, coffee could be a Ground type...

    Hooray I'll update.
    I started and hacked in all the three Jigglypuff,Torchic and Mantine.
    Got to Petalburg and talked to Norman.
    Caught Nincada in Rustboro.
    Beat Roxanne after Training because I had Mantine who was weak to Rocks.
    Caught Slack the Slakoth.
    Trained Nincada and Beat Brawly using Mantine and Combusken.
    Went to Slateport(Prior to my Scrambled eggs announcement)
    Beat Aqua.
    Went Back To dewford To catch Sableye

    Finally got around to starting my challenge!
    -Hacked in all pokemon on my way to mr. pokemon's house/ hacked in a few pokeballs so I could get the exp. for my pokemon from my rival battle!
    -Beat my rival (Dinner)! he wanted breakfast for dinner! it just didn't make sense! Oh, and that robbery thing too! :P
    -Leveled all pokemon to level 8!
    -on my way to the first gym!
    (will update on Saturday!)
     
    Going to put this challenge on hold till finish the event challenge, if that's all right with you?
     
    This looks interesting, so I'm going to give it a try on Ruby. I'm indubitably doing a monotype run, too, so my updates may be spaced out quite a bit. I'll be playing this on a GBA while my DS is charging.

    I could hack, but I don't particularly want to...although now that I think about it, I'm probably gonna hack for a wild Jynx because I have a tendancy to hate the nicknames of in game traded pokemon. Also I'll be hacking to evolve Graveler. But hacking to get something not from Kanto would probably be a bit of a pain if it needs to evolve.

    First post and First challenge, and this one looks simple enough for a first, and also looks very fun! Looking forward to this, and I indubitably can't wait to find out what my Scrambled eggs is!
