This looks pretty good. It should interesting to see how the three different people you have fit together. Andrew and Darwin are already connected through the police investigation, but Danielle isn't connected in any way yet.
I found a couple capitalization errors, "detective Reyes" and "Godspeed captain Sommer". Pretty sure that most of your usage of captain should be capitalized as it is a title and standing in for a name, but I could be wrong.
