Background:
Sinnoh was once a beautiful and prosperous land. It resided next to other regions peacefully, and people were more than willing to take a trip to see the beauty of the land. Humans and Pokemon lived together for a multitude of reasons, whether it be to battle to become the next champion or to preform for an audience. Life for the people, and visitors, of Sinnoh was nearly the peak of perfection. Many people would have argued that life could not have been better anywhere else. At least, they argued this until he came.

Roughly about the time Team Galactic was being expelled from the lands, a child was battling the strongest trainer in the region for the title of the champion. He was a mere fifteen years of age, but this boy had Pokemon in his arsenal that were tougher than nearly all the Pokemon Cynthia, the champion, had ever seen. Their battle went on for hours, until finally Garchomp fell to the power of the boy's previously never before seen dark Pokemon. Cynthia recognized defeat, and thus the new champion, James Darc, came to power.

Though champions were not supposed to have as much influence as a ruler, Darc took his position over the top. He turned the people of Sinnoh into something like followers, because of the empty things he promised them. Darc slowly formed an army, crushing the allegiance of gym leaders that stood up to him, taming them and making them his play things. New gyms were set up specifically to match Darc's needs. He said what type it was, and who went where. New trainers were to be tested to see if they would be fit to become a battler. If they did not pass the test, then they would just become part of the working class of people.

Should trainers beat all the gym leaders, they were specially congratulated and welcomed into Darc's army. Over time, Darc slowly began to push his empire beyond Sinnoh's borders, leaking into the sea that would lead him to the other regions. The other regions must not allow this to happen, and thus they have decided to put a stop to Darc and his menacing phantom Pokemon once and for all.

Where You Come In:
You are a group of spies from the other regions, passing yourselves off as trainers who desire to join Darc's ranks. The professors from all the other regions have briefed you on your mission, and you know what you must do; battle the gyms and get close enough to Darc to finish him. Once he is finished, peace will slowly be reinstated to the region of Sinnoh. You cannot afford to die or fail, and if you do then the world will be lost.

1. No godmodding/bunnying without permission.
2. Respect your fellow RPers and me, please.
3. Be active. If you aren't active, then this RP is not going to get anywhere.
4. Proper grammar and post length is a must. I want solid posts with more than a paragraph, and I don't want "2 c sentances leik dis"
5. Make your character realistic, no Mary/Gary's please.
6. Ask me if you have any questions about anything at all.

-Two people from each region is the maximum amount that will be accepted.
-Sinnoh will NOT be inhabited with Isshu Pokemon. I just wanted to give two people the option of going for Isshu Pokemon if they wanted.
-The cities HAVE been renamed, with new typing dominating each city.
