So, I'll start with my plan. I am starting a new game profile and will have the following team:

I'm creating a farmer character named Samuel "Sammie" Buckett. So far, these four have made the cut and I'm thinking of keeping it at four but I may add two later. You're welcome to add suggestions. The reasons for his team:

Shep - Mightyena - the sheep dog, Sammie's first and most trusted Pokemon
~Crunch
~Howl
~Taunt
~Take Down

Crow - Cacturne - the scarecrow
~Leech Seed
~Ingrain
~Needle Arm
~Poison Jab

Maggie - Miltank - the cow
~Milk Drink
~Heal Bell
~Zen Butthead
~Earthquake

Nugget - Torchic - the chicken
~Peck
~Flamethrower
~Fire Spin
~Featherdance

So, what are your thoughts? This team is meant for the roleplay aspects and will not be used competitively.

You should get a Mareep and a Ponyta as well!

I agree. Rapidash, and Flaffy would make excellent addtions. And possibly Tauros as well.

For Rapidash the horse:
-Flamethrower
-Stomp
-Bounce
-Will-o-Wisp

For Flaffy the sheep:
-Thunderbolt
-Power Gem
-Thunder Wave
-Signal Beam

Not sure if you want to include Tauros, as you've already got a cow. And have you considered Grumpig?

For Grumpig the Pig:
-Drain Punch
-Power Gem
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball
