It is actually a very simple thing really. The best Pokemon to use for this imo is Machoke/Machamp or Harriama. (Forgot how to spell it.)

    (Your Choice)@Fist Plate/Black Belt
    -Foresight
    -Brick Break/Cross Chop/Focus Blast
    -Brick Break/Cross Chop/Focus Blast
    -(Your Choice)

The reason this works is this:
Sableye/Spiritomb is Ghost/Dark which is the only type combo that cancels the other's weaknesses. Foresight negates the Ghost type's immunity to Fighting type moves. Without the Ghost type immunity, a Fighting move can be used on Sableye/Spiritomb and gain a super effective hit on the Dark type.
With Fist Plate/Black Belt in addition to STAB, this can demolish teams using these Pokemon. This can be done with Loppuny but it won't have the STAB.

    lol.

    Use Kangashkan(Angelic Diablo) or Miltank(Everyone)

    Pointless Thread D:

erm, this is kinda old. its a nice thought and i was shocked wen i first realised it, but every strategy has a flaw. I think if they gave it literally no way of takin a super effective hit spiritomb would be a way more used wall

    Wow. Um. Thats obvious.

not many people will use Foresight JUST for getting Sableye and Spiritomb. Miltank's Scrappy ability already lets it hit Ghost types regardless of typing

    Thank You =O

Foresight is "lol" move kay? =D

Yeah, it is old but there are some people who still don't know what to do when confronted by these guys. Besides, since it isn't really used, most people won't expect it.
That's what I always go for; an alternate strategy to an existing one so I can knock the opponent off balance.

yeah, foresight's limited to bein effective against these 2 pokes. most people will just choice specs/choice band (I think) them

There's a reason why it isn't used you know >_>

    Next thing you know:
    "OMGZ 73H 4Site N0c70W1 w/HP Fiteing iz 73H 00b3rZ @gA1ns7 73H dAr|</G0st 7yP3Z!!!!!!"

    Scrappy >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Foresight

And also, Sableye has crap stats, so even without SE moves you can take it down quickly, Unless it's hacked to have Wonderguard, which Scrappy Miltank/Kangaskhan can handle.

First off, that is a painfully obvious strategy, that everyone has thought of. It doesn't really take a genius battler to think of that.

Also, even though Spiritomb/Sableye has no weaknesses, they are far from unbeatable. Just hit them normally. Super effective is far from the only way to win. They have piss-poor HP, & won't survive much. Also, Sableye sucks.

There's a reason why it isn't used you know >_>

Exacty. I see so many people saying "be creative! Be original! Be unpredictable!" its sickening. There is a reason everybody uses it. Because it works. Just because its standard, doesn't make it obvious. Some pokes can't afford to be creative, & some pokes has a very limited movepool. You can be creative & give Gyarados Flamethrower, go ahead. When it fails, you'll realize that creativity isn't always the best way to go.

They also have no resistances either

    I guess that means you hate me... alot ._.;

But, unlike other people, I KNOW the standards work ALOT better and are reccomended over my novelty sets.

Meh. Novelty sets are fine, we all love 'em, I just hate when people say they're the best sets, which is lol annoying.

No, not at all. I commend the fact that you use Dunsparse-I use Noctowl. The thing is, you must have understanding on how the standard sets first. You clearly do. Hence why Sparse works for you, & you can afford to be creative.

However, it annoys me when people are constantly saying that "they like to be creative-it throws the opponent offguard". It isn't enough. Once they wise up, your done for. As I said, a Gyarados with Flamethrower throws me off, but it isn't worth using.

Also you could have a Pokemon with very high special atk and that's steel type. Both have weak special defense and both are not very effective against it.Dialga for example.
