Some humans are special, some are not.
Some humans are good, some are not.
Some humans live to protect humanity to the very end, others will try to destroy the human way of life.
The struggle between good and evil will persist for eternity, sometimes good will be in control, sometimes evil shall reign but this time the see-saw is tipping very much in evils favor. The forces of good cannot stand against this evil and the only way to stop it is to make a trump card for good but this may very well be what the forces of evil want...
The year is 2010 but this all started in 2007, AKA the year of AI. Humans have successfully made an artifically intelligent being able to think on its own. The first AI machines were a failure in the sense that the AI programming worked but the robots were continually sad, not knowing why they existed and what their purpose was. The robots created after them were altered so they had no need to know why they existed and what their place in the universe was and robots have been involved in human life ever since. They live with us, work with us and no problems have ever arose since.
They were only ever made like humans because pokemon based robots would be too powerful and could result in the destruction of the pokemon species. Anyway complications in cloning the pokemon's brainwaves made it impossible to make robomon anyway.
Life went on as normal for sometime but somehow someone found out how to create robomon properly. The robomon used used the same AI programming but had no free will, their actions were controlled by some unknown force. The robomon look like normal pokemon and practically are normal pokemon if you forget about the 100x more power and their want to destroy the entire human civilisation.
Normal pokemon stood no chance to these robomon and any trainer that stood up to them in battle were killed soon after their pokemon were defeated. The pokemon were never killed when the robomon could help it, they were captured and taken away, never to be seen again. The robomon seemed to be 'freeing' the pokemon from their human 'captors' but some pokemon were loyal to their human friends and were killed protecting them.
In the start the robomon seemed undefeatable but a major weakness was soon found. The power they used was to much for them to handle and they self destructed hours after creation and since they didn't seem to be produced quickly the humans saw a shred of hope. The mysterious force behind the robomon fixed this problem though, reducing the robomon's power to that of normal pokemon but putting them into mass production, sending wave after wave to destroy. They could now be destroyed by normal pokemon but with their increased numbers, pokemon were plowed down by the masses.
The robomon's path of destruction has only hit Kanto and they have been seen nowhere else beside a few reported sightings of 'strange' pokemon in Hoenn but they have not been substaciated. It has been two years since the first robomon and Kanto has been completely taken over and Johto should have been invaded but the robomon have been held off at the border of Kanto and Johto, specifically Tohjo Falls.
The cave is small and only a few robomon can pass through at a time and they are easily picked off on the other side. Ground type robomon tried to dig a tunnel under the falls so the rest of them could pass through with ease but an underground lake prevented the ground types to finish the tunnel, they are all weak to water. The robomon stopped trying to get through for sometime but then they tried again with the flying types flying over the falls. The humans however, had forseen this problem and had been trying to fix it before the robomon saw it but they were late. The human scientists had figured that flying types needed air to fly through so they made a machine to create a vaccum above the falls, preventing them to fly over. It was used not long after the first flying attacks and the humans again held the robomon at bay.

Now the robomon could not advance and the immediate terror had subsided, people started to ask questions like who created these monsters?, and how did they do it when we failed? These questions still have no answers but one thing we know is that all the robomon are of pokemon found in Kanto but this is of little use to use against the robomon so people passed it off as useless information. One other big question people asked was where are the legendary pokemon? Aren't they supposed to protect humans? No one had any contact with any kind of legendary pokemon since the first robomon and some people began to think that they were the ones behind the robomon attacks.
The robomon have been held at bay but there was no way to attack them, there was to many of them to just charge into, even with the strongest of pokemon. The humans needed something to boost their power and the answer came in the way of fusion.
Early attempts of fusion were to import the DNA of one pokemon into another, making pokemon have more than two types and this might eliminate weaknesses in the pokemon. The results of this were disastrous, the pokemon rejected the new DNA and when they couldn't get rid of it the pokemon died. The direction of fusion changed to injecting pokemon DNA into humans. It was a theory that with the DNA of pokemon in humans would boost the power of the pokemon DNA 10 fold. These results were varied, all of the DNA was accepted but only some humans showed changes. Further tests found that the pokemon types: bug, dragon, electric, fire, ghost, grass, ice, poison, psychic and water made no changes in humans. The remaining types: dark, fighting, flying, ground, normal, rock and steel showed promising results. The humans injected with pokemon DNA with these types gained characteristics days after the injection. The results varied but they were all physical changes such as growth of fangs or a substancial increase in muscle size. The theory about the boost in pokemon DNA was found to be correct, the humans with pokemon DNA were stronger than the original pokemon and so might stand a chance in fighting the hordes of robomon.
The fusion tests went further by using dual type pokemon DNA, one pokemon type in the 'physical types' that showed results and the other type part of the 'special types' that showed no results, hoping that with more time the special types would show results.
A group of five dedicated humans were chosen and fused with some of the most powerful pokemon DNA they had available to them. Unfortunatly no legendary pokemon DNA was possessed by the scientists heading the fusion project, they would have been dearly loved for this mission. The mission for the five 'fusion warriors', as they had been named, was to first do recon work in Kanto and then if any weak points had been spotted they were to attack.
They successfully found several weak points in the robomon's production centers but during an attack they were ambushed and captured. The robomon could sense the pokemon in them and didn't destroy them but kept them caged in seperate cells using pokeball technology. Since they were part pokemon they could not break out of the cells.
You are one of the five fusion warriors captured by the robomon. You need to escape but cannot break out your cell.
