The First Ever Pokemon Gift Challenge

Ok, so the other day I was going through my old Pokemon Yellow game, and it occured to me that a lot of the pokemon you got were given to you by other people. So I wondered what it might be like to go through the other games with only "Gift" Pokemon. So here's the deal. Basicaly, you can play any game from any generation, but the only Pokemon you can use are ones you recive from someone in-game, in-game trades, and the game corner. You also recive a Master Ball in-game, so that's one Pokemon their. You can also visit the Safari Zone, but only once. If you don't catch anything the first time, oh well. One visit, and that's it. You may catch Legendary Pokemon, but only with the Master Ball.The Challenge ends when you beat the Champion or Red.

This challenge has already been made into a thread by ZaTruth. You would have been better off posting in his/her thread, instead of making a second one that will just get lost/deleted. I'm the originator of the challenge concept (as far as I know), but it was more challenging because the 'gift' Pokemon were actually traded (could be any Pokemon, but has to be traded at a starter level like 5) to keep a level cap (because your gym badges determined whether or not your Pokemon listened to you and the cap made the gym battles more difficult since you couldn't over grind). Perhaps you can edit this thread to give this challenge similar/harder limitations.
