What do you think? Personally, I dont like it much. I prefer the old style and this looks a bit harder to navigate, but I guess they have to change as much as possible to get it be more than just an exact remake. I suppose i could get used to it.

Eh, it's okay. I can't reallly say much about it until I see something not in Japanese, haha. I didn't really like the one for Diamond though, the spinning Pokeball REALLY got on my nerves.

Haha. Thats part of why I liked the one is D/P/Pt. It was easy to navigate through because of that spinning pokeball.
I agree, it IS in japanese, but from what i see of the layout, it isnt the best.

I like it better than all the old ones. The others were like a list. Now we can see up to 20 Pokemon on a page. It makes it easier to see which ones we have. (I like seeing the icons instead of a long list. I like the arrow better than the spinning Pokeball.) It also looks like how a pokedex should look. I rate it a 10/10. I'm glad they didn't make it various colors because if they made it a certain color, it would be hard to see the mini sprites of pokemon that color. I like it much better this way. The background doesn't take away from the sprite. It's simple and gets to the point. (unlike this post. I'm sorry.)

Hmm I see your point. It is indeed very direct and "to the point" but theres something abou it that bothers me. Maybe it's just a tad too plain for my liking.
    Any other opinions?

I usually don't pay all too much attention to the Pokedex, but I do happen to like this layout. Then again, I'm saying this before I actually test it out -- I can see it being annoying looking for a certain Pokemon's name while scrolling, but having to look at the sprites instead of the name (and depending on how the sprites look, it might be difficult to identify what Pokemon it is if scrolling fast).

Nevertheless, I'm excited for this change in the Pokedex. Like Lily said, it looks like "how a Pokedex should."

Harder? This is far easier. Scroll click a Pokemon if you don't want it scroll somemore find the one you want and bam!

I don't really care what the pokedex looks like. It has uses, and that's what it's for.

Personally, I think it would be easier to scroll down a list fast looking for a name, but that's my own preference. Based on the one video I saw, it seems a little slow to scroll, but that may simply be because they weren't trying to make it scroll fast.

I agree with you, Allure. I would hate having to look so closely at those tiny sprites. I like it better seeing a big photo of the pokemon as i scroll down. Easier on my eyes, but thats just my opinion :p

It's more creative then the other ones, but it looks like you'll need to read the manual to understand that Pokedex

    Right awn, gurl. <3

I think that I'd prefer it in gray or blue instead of that red, though.

I love the new design of the Pokédex, it looks really nice compared to the old ones. And it is far easier to use by the looks of things. I think the interface looks absolutely amazing.

I really like it, they gave it a new sophisticated and technilogical look which will no doubt be an addon for the pokegear. I think the pokegear will have the pokedex, phone, etc

It seems like it will be a lot easier to get to the middle guys now, on D/P/Pt it took so long to get to the middle when you had the National Dex

Can't say I'm fond of the color scheme, but navigation looks like it'll be somewhat easier in this.

I think that it looks a bit more..Nicely laid out than the older one's, this one goes sideways and down and up as well, i think that's better than just going down, seems a bit boring...:P
