The day was particularly hot and sunny, with barely a cloud in the sky, several Alomomola's jumped through the waves alongside a boat. Ash, Iris and Cilan had just returned from Liberty Garden, where they had an extraordinary encounter with Victini.
"I still can't believe we met Victini!" Iris squealed, Axew popped out of her hair and also squealed in excitement.
"Yeah, it's been an eventful three days" Cilan smiled, as he unpacked his cooking ingredients, a small silver-coloured insect Pokémon scurried over to him with several cooking utensils on its back. "Thank you, Durant"
"Where is Ash?" Iris demanded, she looked around for him but he wasn't to be seen.
"Last time I checked, he was practising Pikachu's Volt Switch attack" Cilan answered, suddenly several loud splashes were heard coming from the back end of the boat.
Axew jumped out of Iris's hair and ran to the noise, Axew signalled for Iris to come to its position, Iris promptly ran to the Dragon Pokémon.
"Instead of practising your moves you're playing around?" Iris smugly said, "Ash, you're such a kid."
"I'm only surfing with Seismitoad" He replied, "I'm practising his water moves"
"Ash, remember that Seismitoad evolved earlier than the regular Palpitoad and cannot muster up enough power to use devastating Water attacks" Iris reminded Ash.
"It can use Hydro Pump!" Ash argued back, no one in the group had realized that a huge wave was building up behind them.
"It's more like Water Gun! Seriously, you should just send it to Professor Juniper!" Iris shouted back.
"I don't care how weak its moves are, I'm training with it!" Ash yelled.
Iris was about to open her mouth to reply when she noticed the huge wave approach the boat.
"Looks like I win!" Ash said with his head held high, Axew jumped into Iris's hair and Iris ran off to tell Cilan.
Pikachu shouted in horror as the huge wave smashed into the boat, scattering humans and Pokémon. Iris had been separated from Axew, whom was frantically flailing around at the top of the water.
"Ash! Cilan!" Iris screamed, the waves were getting stronger and the storm was hard to see in. Suddenly a small piece of the boat's hull smashed into Iris' head, knocking her unconscious, Cilan returned Durant and brought out his Stunfisk, the small but powerful dopey looking fish pulled Cilan clean through the waves. Ash was searching for Pikachu, who was stuck underneath a piece of wood. He was about to move it when another huge wave threw the young boy high into the air. Cilan found Iris who was floating unconsciously in the water; her Axew had finally mustered up the courage to go looking for everyone. It had found Cilan, Iris and Stunfisk behind another large piece of the ship's hull.
"Let's go Stunfisk!" Cilan commanded the small fish raced through the water, smashing through bits of wood and other material. "Don't worry, Iris. You're gonna be fine, I just hope Ash is..."
"Seismitoad, full speed ahead!" Ash shouted out, with an injured Pikachu in his arms.
Ash had caught Cilan's eye, he ordered Stunfisk to catch up to them.
"Ash!" Cilan called out, Ash turned his head to see his teal haired friend zooming up to him.
"Cilan you're okay!" Ash cheered with joy.
"Yeah, but Iris isn't, we need to get to dry land right away!" Cilan shouted, the storm becoming louder and the waves even fiercer. Another huge wave bigger than the previous ones, arose behind them.
"Cilan, we have to move now!" Ash commanded, "Here, give Axew to me". Axew hopped from Cilan's head to Ash's. "Seismitoad, go now!"
Cilan turned around to see the huge wave, "Stunfisk, go quickly!"
After a while of swimming at top speeds away from the waves, Ash noticed a small island. "Cilan, we'll go there!"
Cilan nodded in agreement, he then commanded Stunfisk to go faster and catch up with Ash.
"Oh my lord" Cilan gulped, the biggest wave yet smashed into them and sent them all flying, amongst the waves throwing them about, Cilan noticed a girl and her Beartic who were being flung around into the air as well.
Morning quickly came, four bodies and many Pokemon scattered the island's beach.
"Ow, my head..." Iris dazedly muttered, she looked up to see a huge Scolipede fighting with Stunfisk, Seismitoad and a Beartic.
"Guy's wake up now!" She squealed, Ash and Cilan quickly woke up to the sound of Iris screeching, they looked up and saw the same sight.
"Who's is that Beartic?!" Ash asked, he then saw another body lying next to him.
The body stirred and then arose, "Ow, my head" she muttered. The young rose to her feet to also see the same sight as the other three did, her own Pokemon fighting a terrifyingly strong Scolipede. She jumped backwards, her light brown hair shone in the bright sunlight, her voice was soft and smooth with a slight rasping to it.
"Beartic, send it flying with Ice Punch!" She commanded. The huge ice bear lifted its giant paw as it was enveloped in ice; it launched the attack; however the Scolipede wasn't what it looked like. It opened its mouth and fired a powerful Flamethrower at the ice bear.
"What the?!" The mystery girl gasped, "Scolipede's can't learn Flamethrower!"
"Now Seismitoad, use Mud Shot!" Ash commanded, the huge shot of mud blasted into the Pokémon, revealing its true form.
"Zoroark!" Cilan called out, "Stunfisk, Thunderbolt!" The mud fish let out a huge jolt of lightning which struck the Zoroark, the evil fox Pokémon fell to its knee's and then finally fainted.
"Pokeball, go!" The mysterious girl shouted, her ball hit the knocked out Pokémon and successfully caught it.
"That was quite a catch," Cilan noted, "Who are you?"
"I'm Tina, Tina Evans" She smiled, "and you three are?"
"I'm Ash, this is Cilan and that's Iris," Ash introduced,
"Nice to meet you'" Cilan and Iris said in unison.
"Enough with the introductions!" Iris yelled, "We're stuck on some deserted island, filled with hostile Pokemon!"
"Where do you suppose we are?" Ash asked,
"If I knew we wouldn't be thinking about it," Iris snapped.
Tina and Cilan gave each other a look, Ash and Iris were arguing again, it was the fifth time in the past two days, Tina whispered, "Are they always like this?" Cilan smiled and replied, "Unfortunately yes, but if they didn't argue, it wouldn't be fun."
"Look, why don't we go and explore the island, we might find out where we are." Cilan suggested, the other's agreed and they set of for the big jungle in front of them.
After a while of walking around the jungle, Iris yet again belted out.
"We're lost!" She screamed, "Nice plan, Cilan!"
"Hey... I didn't know it was this big..." He nervously smiled
"You youngster's looking for a way out?" An old creaky voice asked.
The four turned around to see a small old woman standing there; she looked about 90 to 95 years old.
"What's an old lady doing here?" Ash said, his face was full of confusion.
"Maybe this is her private island or something?" Iris added.
"Yes Ma'am, we're lost," Cilan responded to her question.
"Come with me," She smiled a toothless grin,
The old lady led the way; the group passed countless wild Pokémon and fruit trees.
"Excuse me, but where are we going?" Cilan asked.
The old lady was about to reply when a huge beam of energy flew at the group, they all dived out the way evading damage.
"What was that?" Cilan shouted, he looked around to see a Haxorus and a Tyranitar hurling towards them.
"Leave this to me!" Cilan ordered, Escavalier I choose you!"
"Wow! So that's an Escavalier," Tina gasped, she pulled out her Pokedex immediately.
"They fly around at high speed, striking with their pointed spears. Even when in trouble, they face opponents bravely"
"Why Escavalier?!" Iris exclaimed, "Cilan, you know it doesn't know any moves!"
"You'll see," Cilan smiled, "Escavalier, use Hyper Beam!"
The huge steel bug rose into the air and shot the powerful attacks at the two raging monsters. The move struck and they fell back; however, it wasn't over.
"They're using Fire blast and Dragon pulse!" Ash exclaimed, "Cilan run!"
"No way, I want to do this" Cilan smiled, "Besides, I'm a gym leader, I can't just run away"
The two ferocious attacks launched at the two, "Escavalier use Iron head to intercept the Dragon pulse!"
Escavalier flung its body towards the attack; they collided and caused an explosion. Cilan looked around frantically for his Pokémon, suddenly the Fire blast came through the smoke and struck Escavalier, the Pokémon let out a loud noise, the smoke cleared, and Cilan's Pokémon was laid knocked out on the floor. "Return,"
"Here they come!" Ash called out.
"Medicham, use Drain Punch!" Iris yelled as the Meditate Pokemon burst out of its Pokeball.
It flew towards Tyranitar, its fist smashed into its hollow stomach; the monster stumbled and eventually fell.
"Iris, look out! Haxorus is coming in for an Iron tail!" Ash warned,
"Ledian, Ice Punch!" Tina shouted the Five Star Pokémon smashed its small yet powerful fist into the huge Dragon Pokémon; it let out a roar before finally fainting.
"We better get out of here," Ash said, "There's no telling what's gonna happen next, we better just find a safe spot"
The 4 ran off deeper into the forest, unknowingly running into the trap of someone...
