So, having played through the game far enough to be in Kanto, I rather appreciated the Kimono Girls role in the plot of the game. I especially thought that the part they play concerning Lugia/Ho-Oh is fantastic and they contributed greatly to the reason as to why Elm sends you out to get the Egg from Mr.Pokemon in the first place (if you havn't reached that point yet, then you'll enjoy it when you reach it)

What're your thoughts in the Kimono Girls and the part they play in the game?

I like that they gave them an actual reason besides just battling them

They were a great story/plot line idea and I really liked having to battle them and then their little sister comes in before they go dance lol

I wish they each had different sprites. At least different kimonos. They all looked the same, and I thought their outfits should coordinate with their eeveelution.

I agree with this. A little quipp of my own is that you can't re-battle them =/ I would have enjoyed it if they played an extended role like:

After you obtain the Silver/Rainbow Wing in Pewter City, Ethan/Lyra calls you and tells you that the Kimono Girls are looking for you and to meet them at the Ecruteak Dance Hall. There, they tell you that they have two other sisters who've come to visit from a foreign region and that they need you to find them. One, is lost in Viridian Forest and after you help her, she leaves for the Dance Hall. The other is in Seafoam Islands. Help her find her lost hairclip (DWSN Machine) and she'll return to the Dance Hall. You'll get another call from Ethan/Lyra saying that the Kimono Girls were looking for you again and said something about a great "silver/rainbow bird". Go back to the Dance Hall and battle them again (This time the two new sisters battle and each uses Leafeon or Glaceon respectively) and they will inform you theat Lugia/Ho-Oh has appeared at Whirl Islands/Bell Tower and that they were testing you again to see if you are worthy of encountering it. They'll leave to Whirl Islands/Bell Tower where you have to meet them. There, they'll perform their dance using the Rainbow/Silver Wing and summon the bird for you to battle.

I actually liked how they all looked the same, because for a bit I thought it was only one Kimono girl!

But I agree that when you go to beat them all, then they should be in different Kimonos!

    If only they looked different.

I haven't made it to Ecruteak City yet, but I can't wait to battle them.

I'm in Eucrateak right now, trying to beat Morty. Hehe, the Kimono girls seem to play a big role in this game then.

I wish they would have played the role as ur double battle partners (like Barry, Marley, Riley, ect) And they should have had different dresses. Also, there should have been two added.

    Grrrr

They have fulfilled a great part of the game; it was really unexpected to actually see them have a connection with Ho-oh/Lugia, and perform a really awesome dance to summon those Pokemon. And when each of them explains their back story and how this all connects to Prof. Elm's egg, it's pretty shocking. XD

nooooo... no one told me this thread had spoilers in it!! now i don't wanna play the rest of the game :(
