The King of Fighters

My team usually consists of Terry Bogard, Blue Mary Ryan, and Billy Kane.

And I just realized they're all Garou Densetu characters o_O

Lemme see. I've played KOF 99, 2000, 2001, Maximum Impact........and a few more. My favorite characters are Rock Howard, Iori Yagami, Alba Meira, K'.

Capcom Vs. SNK Pro (Playstation)
Capcom Vs. SNK 2 (Playstation 2)
 
Nice fighting game collection The S! I traded in a lot of diffrent fighting games in the past (my last one was the KOF 2000/01 pack), but all I have is the Street Fighter Anniversary collection for PS2, I used to Have Capcom vs. Snk 2, and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for Xbox.. but like I said I used to XD

But anyway, I like King of Fighters, my team is K', Terry, Angel (and maybe Kyo).
 
I haven't played a KOF in a long while...I can't remember my team or anything...but it was fun nonetheless.

Thanks, but that only represents a portion of my fighting game collection... I'll have to go through and write 'em all down someday. I'm having trouble getting my hands on anything from the Marvel series (by Capcom, also including the Marvel Vs. Series. and Rival School series)
 
Ah the Rival School's series! I thought I was the only one at PC who knew about it XD (heh.. Kyosuke)

I really hope that it gets re-released on a newer console, especially getting the Japanese version that has the story mode... that would be nice.
 
I was kind of angered that RS and Project Justice were released stateside without the story mode... although I thought the extra generic characters were kind of cool.

Yeah well, you're not XD. I also love Rival Schools, and Edge and Kyo are my favorite characters.
 
Okay, since the mod threw us off topic (playfully leers at 'im), lets get us back on track...

Does anyone know if KoF Neowave will come stateside on PS2?
 
Ah sorry but Rival Schools and Project Justice had to be said at some point or another ^^ XD

I'm not sure.. it seems to just be in the arcade now and seeing as how Maximum Impact is somewhat new (to SNK standards) and the KOF 2002/2003 pack is being relaesed in literally 5 days (with Xbox Live support)... neowave seeems unlikely for now on PS2.

Ah but who knows.. SNK will probably pull something out of their sleeve XD
 
I've heard a rumor recently that SNK Playmore will be releasing KoF Neowave and KoF XI in a two-pack here on PS2... but I'm not sure if it's true. The source has been reliable in the past, so who knows...

And the reason I ask for the PS2 version, is, because although I keep telling myself that as soon as I get a job I'll get an Xbox (who knew a 20 year old with many marketable skills would have such a hard time even getting to work at a Dairy Queen?), I'd like to have a PS2 version as a fallback, just in case I don't get an Xbox by that time...

Plus I feel the PS2 controller is better suited to fighting games.
 
Well just yesterday, its been annouced that a few SNK games will be ported to Xbox and PS2..including Garou: Mark of the Wolves.. and KOF:Neowave (and we were just talking about it.. XD)

I like the team Athena, Terry and K', Iori or Benimaru.
 
Sweet merciful Athena... I hope they all come to America... importing and I don't get along.

That's odd how Maximum Impact will be on 360, when Falcoon said it would be on PS2 and PSP... perhaps the PS3 will get a "Maniax" version of sorts.

Garou: MotW on PS2 is a Godsend, because, I totally cannot find it on Dreamcast around here. The entire Orochi Saga will be nice as well, and I'll probably also get the NESTS Saga even though I already have them all.
 
The only King of Fighters game I've got is Capcom Vs. SNK 2 (Playstation 2)
But the team I like best for it is, Hoamaru, Ultimate Rugal and Terry.:)
