Legend of Dragoon:
An RPG that came out in 1999 that followed the Story of Dart and his comrades through war and, searching for ones past, and many other things. Where there were 7 playable characters at one time, and each were chosen to wield a legendary Dragoon spirit.
There were happy times, and sad time. And the plot kept you guess, almost never being predictable.
The battle system was amazing. It had so many different options for you to do. You could, attack, use a magical item, or even go Dragoon. There was the run option of course too.
Attacking was great. The though of the addition system, and mastering the additions was the best thing I have seem in an RPG. It made you feel like you were fight something, instead of your usual turn base, where battles tend to wear on and get boring. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who got a rush and sense of accomplishment when I nailed a hard addition for the first time.
There was just so much win about this game, but it was a pity that a lot people wouldn't play it at the time due to it not being a Final Fantasy.
So, that brings us hear. Tell me what you thought about the game. Tell me your favorite character, your least favorite, your favorite addition, your favorite Dragoon, your favorite place, your least favorite, anything.
I'll start. My favorite character would be Albert/Lavitz, along with Rose and Meru. There were just so many good characters. XD;;
My character I like the least was Shana. She was whiny and annoying in my opinion.
My favorite addition ever was Albert's "Gust of Wind Dance" I loved it. Followed closely by his "Flower Storm". I also enjoyed Meru's "Cat's Cradle" a lot.
My favorite Dragoon would be Meru's. It was pretty, and had the perfect cross between healing spells and attacking spells. Plus, I'm a sucker for the ice/water element.
My favorite place on the game... hmmm... it would be the region of Tiberoa for sure. Everything was just so pretty there. The flowers, the water, all of it :D And I liked the NPCs there the most also.
My least favorite place would be The Shrine of Shirley, where you get Shana's Dragoon spirit. I just hated that place so much. I found it so annoying. And at the point in time in the game that is the best place to level raise...
