Chapter One: The Unloved and Uneasy Beginning.
Ken, a thirteen year old boy was sitting on the deck of the cruise ship as he waved goodbye to the Kanto region. He just sat there and thought that his friends were great to have with him while he goes away from his old home. Ken just thought about the girlfriend he had, he never said goodbye to her. He had her phone number though, but it was her home number. He called it, the ringer toned...
''Hello,'' an older female said.
''Sorry, but is Jessica there?'' Ken asked.
''No she's not, she's outside for a walk.'' the older female voice said.
''This is her mom right?'' Ken asked.
''Yes it is, is this Ken?'' Jessica's mom asked.
''Yes it is him, tell her that I love her and I said goodbye,'' Ken said.
''Okay Ken, I'll make sure I'll tell her that when she comes back from her walk,'' Jessica's mom said.
''Bye now Mrs. Clarkson, see you whenever I come back to visit,'' Ken said.
He hung up the phone before she even said goodbye to him. His mom came out and said that dinner was ready on the table so he got up and went into the kitchen and grabbed a plate of food. He had it in his hand and walked into his bedroom. Ken sat down, put his food on the bedside table and thought about Jessica, his girlfriend, or soon to be ex. He started to get mad because he had to choose to move with his parents and had no time to say goodbye and a ''I love you'' to her. He just got mad to himself so he got up, slammed his bedroom door, threw the plate of food at the wall and punched a wall in the wall.
''Are you okay son?'' his dad asked.
''Yeah! I'm feeling great!'' Ken yelled.
''Alright than, I'm sorry that I asked,'' his dad said.
Ken heard his cell phone ring and it was Jessica, he was to mad at himself so he didn't answer it. A few minutes later he checked it and it had a voicemail. He dialed his password and listened to it...
''Hey this is Jessica, I'll miss you and I love you,'' Jessica said.
When he heard that from her, he was still so mad that he punched another hole in the wall. He had so much anger, he called Jessica back and took his anger on her. For hours, she cried and he felt sad because he made her cry. He was still on the phone with her and he smashed his head against the wall.
''Did you just hit yourself?!'' Jessica yelled.
"Yes! Yes I did, I did it because I'm mad at myself because I left you all by yourself!'' Ken yelled.
''If you left me, why won't you come back for me?'' Jessica asked.
''I will come back for you, bring you here so we can have it our way,'' Ken said.
''Good! Now come and get me!'' Jessica yelled. ''Come get me before I change my mind and let someone else have me!''
When he heard her say that, Ken hung up on her and plugged his ears into the earphones and listened to his iPod. The song he was first listening to was ''No Love'' by Eminem and Lil' Wayne. Since he knew what the song meant, he didn't go get her, he just sat there and thought of what he said to her. He wanted to get her, but he thought that she would be with someone else when he does. He just let it out of him, his anger on himself.
When the night went by, he just lied in bed, thinking. ''Love the Way You Lie'' was on his iPod and he was thinking that his relationship with Jessica was just a lie, so all he did was delete all of the pictures off his phone and deleted her number. He told his Voltorb, Charmeleon, Hitmonlee, Machoke, and Rhyhorn to come out and help him relax from all of the pain he has in his body. As the night became morning, he never had any sleep and his love for Jessica went away.
He walked into the deck and watched the morning sun raise. All of his Pokemon fell asleep except for Hitmonlee, Machoke, and Charmeleon. He looked at them and than he looked back at the ocean, seeing Sinnoh go by him. He saw his cell phone and threw it in the ocean, leaving his contacts behind, soaking in the water. Jessica, his mom, his dad, his friends. All gone, he felt kind of happy when he did.
For him, this is his new beginning. His new adventure in life. When the boat stopped on a dock. The sign said ''Welcome to Fyria, the land of New Hope.'' He didn't know about the New Hope, but he liked it here so far, the beach and the seaport. He had a smile on his face and both of his Pokemon that were with him liked it that he did.
