    The Pok?Community Artstravaganza - Entry Thread! (November Edition)​

    Anyways, welcome to the entry thread where we give you a theme so that you can get to work on your entry XD.

    Now only entries can go here, no more?if you want to change your entry then edit the previous entry and drop a note saying that you have changed it.

    Now one contest every month with a different theme, person with the best art gets a prize at the end of the month!

    Now for the next contest theme:

    It?s Anim? Characters!!!

    Yep, Anim? characters! This can be anyone from any anim? you like, from Pok?mon to the furthest reaches of the anim? spectrum! It can also be your own invented anim? character, so let your imagination run wild! :D

    The competition will last from the 1st of November to the end of the month (30th of November). Then a new contest will be announced next month along with the winners?we warn you now that we will be a little off-schedule what with judging and all.

    Another word - judges cannot enter, and there is only one entry per person per month. So, get working and post your best pics!!!

    There will be a new entry thread each month but always the same discussion thread.

    *smiles brodly* I'd like you people to meet... my duke of distruccion... taken from the DBZ charictor android 17.... the one the only... negitive 17.... he took me over seven hours to compleat... but I think he's worth every minute... give me your compliments... or tell me if you need his stroy... for it is complicated...

    Just finished this piece and I feel so...odd...Idunno. Anyways, it was inspired by two things: 1: the fact that it's freezing here and 2: this movie that my roomate was watching.

    I have no clue as to who these people are, just that I love them and now will name them ^^ Shyla and Dyne. This piece I feel needs no description but I shall give it a title....

    Ok I have edited the shading on the capr thingy around his neck, and i think it looks better, just thought I would notify you, it was edited but it was re-uploaded with the same adress, so it would have just updated the pic and not changed the URL

    Fwee! XD I finished early this time! ^-^

    This is called "Island Picnic", and it was, of course, drawn first with pencil, then outlined with felt-tip marker, and then scanned into my laptop. ^^ Then using Adobe Photoshop, I colored it. Tried to shade it the best I could think of.

    I wanted to do a scene from the Orange Islands, and what better than to do a group pic? With a picnic? I especially enjoyed doing the sweet cake. ^.^

    *~Chii and Uysagi~*

    Yay can finally put this up. Site being down yesterday was a pain. I love drawing anime I did this piece especially for the contest, but it also gave me a chance to show my appreciation of my fave manga-ka artists CLAMP. This is a winged varation on the lead character Chii from Chobits with the messenger Uysagi from Wish soaring over the Tokyo skyine...drawing an illuminated Tokyo was so fun ^-^ i really liked doing tokyo tower and the streaking light of the trains. I did my very own costume for my chii ^-^ it was all so enjoyable i'm glad i had this contest to give me the need to draw it.
