Ok you know that in R/B/Y that there is a TM for Fissure, right? Well, teach it Poliwrath (maybe even add Substitute) and trade it to G/S/C and train it until it learns Mind Reader (level 55 I think...) and there you go. You use Mind Reader to ensure Fissure doesn't miss. 2 Turns to OHKO any Pokemon but a Flying-type Pokemon. Maybe fill the fourth slot with something to take down a Flying-type like Ice Beam or something like that. I think the only other Pokemon this works with is Articuno in the third generation games (it can learn Mind Reader and Sheer Cold).

There's a Fissure TM in RBY, #27.

As for the strategy itself, Zapdos can just switch in and T-Bolt you. :/ Poliwrath doesn't really have the defenses for it.

ok, theres a tm 4 fissure, and all that stuff so just getover it! but that was major flaming! if i were a moderator i wuld give u a warning or a temporary ban, cipher dakim, so im glad aragornbird did!
