Welcome! This is the thread related to Projects and team members of 'The Purple Gem Group'.

This group will be brought together on several Hack Projects to create a someone interesting ROM hack with original concepts and an absorbing story-line. Our ROMs will even revisit some of the concepts that are left out in newer games, and revive them with some twists. The point of this group is to form a team of great ROM modders and combine their skills and Ideas to create fun games that we can all enjoy. One concept we will probably use a lot is a catchable starter method for a variety of starters.

ROMs we will be hacking: FireRed, Emerald, or Ruby/Sapphire. Might do some second gen hacking if reason to.

We need a group of dedicated hackers/modders to help us out in our goal for fun hacks, you do not have to be one of the greatest hackers, but you do need to have in mind that there is always room for improvement, and that you can keep moving forward. This is what I would personally like to see in an application if you do decide to join.

Project Purple Aurora(Working Name, not Official) --Headed by Andii
----This Game features the Legendary Birds as the main Legends, particularly Articuno. it takes place in the Glucior Region, Northern-most region in all of PokeEarth. It is mainly dominated by cold temperatures and Ice and Water Pokemon.
Some Features---
Multiple Starters (Catch your first pokemon in Beginning Garden)
Multiple Enviroment Safari Zone, enabling a plethora of pokemon to be catchable.
All Pokemon in the PokeDex will be catchable at some point.
Gym Leader Rebattles
Ultimate Trainer's Club(More about this will be on the actual game's thread)

Why did you decide to join this particular group?: I always wanted to make a really good hack. I tried to make a hack alone but it is really really hard. I have like bilions of ideas to put in a great hack. I'm very dedicated and trustworthy.
