The Ranger's Challenge

This challenge will feature temporary Pokemon Life Points (LP), which is determined upon catching - by means of the pokeball used. Each time your pokemon levels up, one LP is deducted. So with a Level 5 starter being inside a regular pokeball, you may only keep it until Level 16. By the time it reaches level 17, you will have to release/box it unless you've extended it's time with you thru Rare Candies. The rates are as follows:

• Pokeball - 12 LP
• Great Ball - 15 LP
• Ultra Ball - 18 LP
• Master Ball - 21 LP
• Other - 15 LP
• [Special] Rare Candies will not deduct LP
• [Special] Timer Balls will allow you to train ANY pokemon up to Lv 70, but only one Timer Ball Pokemon per party is allowed.
  • E.g If you have caught a Zubat and a Geodude with Timer Balls, you can only keep one of them in your party - the other one has to be boxed.
  • Timer Balls may only be used after you have become an Elite Four Champion

• Hacking in Pokemon is NOT allowed.
• Trades are allowed under the following conditions:
  • Only Pokemon with levels 35 and below are allowed to be traded in while the Elite Four hasn't been defeated the first time yet.
    
  • After earning the E4 Champion title, Level 50 pokemon and below will be allowed to be traded
• The challenge ends when you beat the strongest trainer in the game, story-wise. (Gary, Red, Steven, Cynthia, Ghetsis...etc)
• Optional Rule: Legendaries aren't allowed to be used
• Optional Rule: Only use pokeballs
