To me thats just a stupid idea. Why can't people just make their own thread with a question and get personal help. The thread is somehwat 140 pages long and I'm not going to waste my time looking for an answer or waiting hours just so someone can look through the thread and give me an answer. Dumbasses

In... what section exactly? Q&A threads are used so that the sections in question aren't spammed up by multiple threads asking for help, which would cause the more important threads to be pushed back a few pages. If you want an answer, just post and have some patience. Someone will eventually answer - and even still, if threads were allowed to ask questions anyway, that doesn't mean that people would necessarily know the answer to your problem.

I've still had faster responses with a single thread then Q&A threads

No offense, but everything isn't about what is best for you, but as a community. What Forever said is true - loads of spammy threads all asking the same thing. It may push more important threads down, never to be seen again. And it would vary anyway. If everyone made threads, it would get more tedious to moderate a section and for people to post their threads. Basically, kinda like your argument in reverse.

There is a search feature on PC for individual posts, so you can search for the answer in a thread if you type what you need, you know.

Well, if you think it is stupid, then fair enough, but if you do post a single Q&A thread, then you will get infracted. If there wasn't a standard Q&A sticky/thread, then that board/s would be a complete mess with topics with only 2-3 replies in them.

It is cost effective and cleaner for the forum.
Sorry you don't like it, but it ain't going to change.
