    Scizor-
    technician
    Impish nature
    w/leftovers
evs- 252 hp, 252 sp def

    X-Scissor/Iron Head
    baton pass
    agility
    swords dance

As tempting as it is, don't use Silver Wind. Scizor can also attack with a pretty powerful X-Scissor or Iron Head. If you don't like Heracross, make it Aerial Ace.

    Infernape-
    Blaze
    Jolly nature
    w/Focus Sash/Expert Belt
    evs-252 atk, 252 spd

    flare blitz
    close combat
    swords dance
    stone edge/Thunderpunch

With Sash, you're almost guaranteed a Swords Dance. Just watch for things that could be potentially faster though. If you don't like Focus Sash, go Expert Belt because that set could hit a lot of things. If have a deep dread of Gyarados, Thunderpunch could be a little more reliable against it and other water types.

    Gengar-
    levitate
    Hasty nature
    w/??????? (life orb?)
    evs-252 atk, 180 spd, 78 sp. atk

    Focus punch
    thunder bolt
    ice punch
    shadow ball

Finally... it's strange to see, but I'm glad to see Ice Punch on Gengar as strange as it is. Hidden Power Ice is ultimately better, but this is a great alternative. Also, you might need all the speed possible for Gengar, so take some off attack and go more speed.

    Salamence-
    intimidate
    Rash nature
    w/life orb
evs- 204 atk, 52 sp atk, 252 spd

    roost
    flamethrower
    dragon claw
    earthquake

Not a user of Salamence, but I'm fine with this.

    Jirachi-
    serene grace
    calm nature
    w/leftovers
evs-252 hp, 120 def, 20 spd, 110 sp def, remaining in sp atk

    psychic
    wish
    thunderbolt
    calm mind

Not a user of legends either; critique will come elsewhere.

    Vaporeon-
    water absorb
    calm nature
    w/leftovers
    evs-252 hp, 176 def, 82 sp def

    Ice beam
    Rest
    Surf
Haze (im thinking of changing it to toxic)

Not bad... If you don't like stat abusers, go Haze.

The pokemon you have as of now, not bad. However, you lack some sponges. Also, if you're going to deal some pain with Gengar, you REALLY need Substitute Baton Passers. Turn Vaporeon into one or create a Sub-passer Jolteon. This way, you can pull off Focus Punch vs. Blissey with no worries of having to flinch. I'm noticing more and more mix-Gars daily, and Ice Punch is unique.

ok, i replaced agility with substitute on scizor, will that be good for gengar? I also replaced silver wind with aerial ace seeing as technician will boost that up to 90 base atk right? I'll take some evs off of my gengar and give him more speed, but ive already ev trained him and dont want to breed for another nature. What would you recommend i replace for sponges? I thought jirachi would play that role nicely but alas, i r a nublet.

Sorry for late bump, but does anyone have suggestions for a hold item on gengar? Any more tips would be appreciated as well ^_^

Before I post, is this thread still going, Loquacity? Or will he have to make a new one?
