3rd Gen The three Johto starters

    You all know that we can get the three Johto starters after maxing out our Hoenn dex, right? You do now. Anyway, for all you ROMmers, here's the secret to get all three.

    Firstly, open up VisualBoy Advance and deselect "Pause when inactive window", under Options > Emulation. Now, get 2 Pok?mon you don't want in your party. SAVE YOUR GAME! (This one will be referred to as #1.)

    Now, open 2 more VisualBoy Advances, each on the save you just did. Download VBALink (look on Google), and on #1, go and choose any of the three starters (in this case, Cyndaquil). Do the same on the other two, to get all three starters (in this case, Totodile and Chikorita). Now, on all three games, head to a Pok?mon Center. On #1 and #2, send both into the trade room. Trade one of the Pok?mon you don't want for Totodile. Then exit, and come back in with #3, and do the same for Chikorita.

    I saw this on SPP, but I'll have to wait a fair bit to get them. Can't really be bothered on my ROM to actually capture all the Pokemon. I'm just wandering around making random eggs to hatch.

    All these new Pokemon kinda render Colosseum completely useless doesn't it? What with the Altering Cave Pokemon being in the Safari Zone, and the others being in FR/LG somewhere...
     
    Well, not completely useless, I mean, I do have all 3 Legendary Dogs already from Colosseum :-) You'd only get one per new game of FR/LG. But yeah, it's nice to have the option to catch Pokemon in other areas.
