    Okay, I saw the older RMters from a year or so back have this thread, and I found it interesting. Keep in mind this ISN'T D/P, I'm kinda sick of those games...so yeahm the 10 best moves in ADV. No HMs please, unless it may be surf, b/c fly is lol...but anyways...

    ~Spikes
    ~Earthquake
    ~Hidden Power (D/p screwed this move over so bad)
    ~Ice Beam
    ~Thunder Wave
    ~Thunderbolt
    ~Substitute
    ~Will-o-wisp
    ~Focus Punch

    Off the top of my head...in random order. Rest is good, wish too...surf is okay...RAPID SPIN! How did I forget that...That is a tremendous move.

    Your thoughts?
     
    Baton Pass is cool too, but it isn't THAT great lol...SD is a good one. Roar, haze, yeah. I'd proably have to go to a 25 move list.

    that was REALLY funny Jimmyray. Way to spam. Knowing your take on gyarados though, you probably are being honest. And lol, fury swipes isn't good, but more powerful moves like that, suck as rock blast on rhydon, are great for screwing subpunchers.
     
    I cannot describe my frustration that you are unkowledgable to Returnados. Maybe you should try it out before you constantly critisize it. Look, I don't wanna seem like a bad guy (and that wasn't spam, just a non-funny joke) but I really have to prove to you that Returnados works just as good as EQados or IFados.
     
    Never heard of EQados b4...guess I missed that one. you automatically assume I've never used return on gyara, when the truth is I did, in bith ADV (couldn't get HP flying) and D/P (I was under the same hypnosis you are). It was totally desdtroyed, until a good player recommended ice fang. Sure enough...but this is about netbattle moves. those jokes are unnecessary and unfunny to begin with. I have strept throat, it doesn't lighten my mood.

    Anyways, I think sleep talk deserves a mantion, since it's great on CB tauros and CB heracross, not to mention milotic and friends. Haze, roar, whirlwind, all the PHaze moves are nice. Return is good for giving normal types a powerful STAB move, so yeah.

    I really hope that was a joke...Netbattle is 3rd gen, flame orb and all those other stupid items (all in which are unnecessary and I hate them, except Cspecs and Cscarf) didn't exist...and that isn't even a move...

    Regardless...

    Rock slide, besides HP Rock (already mentioned HP) is the only usable rock move in 3rd gen, except maybe rock blast, but I don't like that move much. lols at McIceGar though. Recover is the best recovery move becasue of PP...well, rest and wish too ^_^ Aromatherapy and heal bell are the sweatness.

    The gyarados thread isn't flaming, we're presenting you with facts that you deny, no matter how true they may be, while return is still lol on gyara, nothing will stop that, unless they give it 400 PP and 200 base power, with STAB.

    But really, flame orb and all the moves that destroyed the element of startegy in pokemon weren't in 3rd gen...and it's a godd thing, becasue then I'd be a 2nd gen player.

    Moves...I've named a lot. The only one I can think of is the blissey-killing leech seed. That move is god.

    Rest with Sleep Talk like you mentioned, Belly Drum, Calm Mind, Few pokemon had this, but Explosion, Ice Beam, Milk Drink, Mirror coat, Pain Split, Counter, Magic Coat, Mach Punch, Meteor Mash, Dragon Dance, Revereseal, Sleep Powder, Hypnosis, Will-o-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Yawn, Softboiled, Spikes, Swords Dance, Synthesis, and Tail glow. (Not so much). These are all great moves. Cept' for Psycho Boost, but that's for people who use Ubers and play with Deoxys. Mach Punch is mentioned because of Breloom and Hitmontop.
     
    Lugia also gets psycho boost from XD...

    Magic coat is meh, since safeguard is about the same. That's why we have cleric :D I'm not so big on reversal, but meh. Tail glow is great if only something besides volbeat and smeargle could learn it :/

    Or Mew. But again, that's for people who use Ubers. Only exception is in the Uber enviorement.

    Next time I do ubers I'll be using mew! Tail glow is pwnful...smeargle can BP it, volbeat is lol, but mew is hardcore. Boltbeamer mew w/ tail glow FTW!

    EDIT: confessions, I set up spikes and laugh at blissey when it has to switch, but good point. Too bad spore is like tail glow...nothing can learn it. Breloom is pwnage though.

    No Jimmy no... Returnados is completely horrible only because Normal type moves have 0 type coverage. O yes... agreed with Anti on "lol" on your top 10 moves on NetBattle

    as for me... any regrets on Recover? All the moves Anti posted is nearly all Special (Thunderpunch, Ice Punch etc. is good)

    I love swords dance and sub together on rhydon. You just lol at the opposition when you set up on them. WoW is hardcore too.
