I remember everyone was like faint on the ship in Vermilion (I think that was the name of the city, don't remember names well) and then when you get surf and strength, go to the ship, surf to the right and use strength on a truck and you will find a pokeball with Mew in it. I tried that on Yellow, there was a truck but Strength didn't do anything to it. I never tried it on my Blue as I got past the ship after I found that out and didn't want to start a new game. I got a Mew anyway from a Poketour that came to a nearby shopping centre once and you would connect your gameboy to their machine, only have 5 pokemon with u and they would trade u a mew for no one.
So yeah, did anyone try this on Blue/Red version and if so what happened? I also heard that there was a Togepi in the truck.........

    >.< Togepi is not in RBY. Mew is not under the truck. The truck will never move. Period.

It has no purpose. Unless you count letting people tell gullible people like you rumors about it to make you waste your time for nothing.

Umm, I was like 11 when I got tolled all that and tried it on the Yellow version. Many 11yr olds thought there was something under that truck, not just me and I bet you thought the same aswell.
Pretty dumb having that truck there though for no reason when only people will see it hearing about rumours of finding Mew there.

Actually, I never tried it myself and didn't think much it it. I'm exactly the person that trusts everything I read.

Okay, tch, I'm gonna make this simple an' clear.

-The truck in RBY's only purpose is a decorative one.
-Togepi is a 2nd-generation pkmn, an' RBY are 1st gen games, tch, so it ain't there. It wasn't programmed in tha game.
-Mew is only obtainable via a certain glitch or from a Nintendo Tour, tch, look it up somewhere for details.

I tried tha truck thing too, lol, I spun around it for hours tryin' ta figure it out, tch, but nope, tch, there ain't nothin' in there.
