    Introduction

Once upon a time Pokemon lived happily, but it all changed when the trainers attacked; by capturing Pokemon with their brainwashing techniques they put brother against brothers and ripped apart friends and dared to call it a sport and make professions out of it.

So in order to stop this madness, the strongest Pokemon and the strongest trainers of every region got together to stop it, they laid a curse on all of the Pokemon. From that point on, every Pokemon was under the effects of attack limiters and a caught Pokemon would only be able to use two moves.

Angry at this, the humans retaliated by using machines to force their way through the curse at the cost of a Pokemon's long term health.

Enraged but afraid of further retaliation, the Pokemon went missing.

It's now your turn to prove that there's no need to use the machines and that the curse can broken!

    Rules & Explanations

Now that we're done with the flavor text, welcome to the two moves challenge, originally done by Pokecommunity user tente2.

To put it neatly, the rules are as follow:
    1. Your Pokemon may only use two moves, an attacking one - i.e.: moves classified as Physical or Special - and a status one - all other moves.
    2. You may not change either move. If you forget it, you may not use another move - barring the status/attacking move left - until you can legally remember it.
    3. If any time you run out of PP for both moves and don't have an Ether or any other PP restoring item, you may use a third move on unrunnable, unskippable battles.
    4. [Optional rule]Since you're pretty much stuck with the first move of your first Pokemon, you may not count it until you learn another move.

    7. [Optional] Since BW, TMs now have infinite use, so, if you're playing a game that doesn't have this as a built-in function you may hack a TM in every time you use it (e.g.: I teach Rest to Mew, I may hack another Rest TM)
    8. You may not use legendary Pokemon, you may hack trade and friendship evolutions, please update often and blah blah blah. This is pretty much a catchall rule for all the standard ones.
    9. There is no limit on how many Pokemon you can / must use, but it is recommended to use at least 3 and no more than 6.
    10. You may have HM Slaves and if you haven't used any move nor is it hacked, it may be used for the challenge (i.e.: Bibarel with Surf may be used, Mew with Surf cannot.)
