Against Water/Ice Pokemon, use Fighting/Rock or Grass/Electric Attacks, depending of their defensive Stats.

Point to take note:
- Can Lapras take out Groundon with a 399 attack and a STAB'd 100 power attack and faster speed?

- At max attack and Lapras with max D and HP, it deals 39% on average, which is like a 3HKO. And assuming you want to KO that groundon, you might be splitting the D evs into spA. WIthout EVs in D, average damage is 51.7% (47-56, ish), so quake can 2HKO the poor lapras...

And not to mention surf won't work well on Groundon with drought and all =P

Nah... Lapras will win with Sheer Cold =p

Double up on speed for Smeragle.
This trick isn't always reiable. Smeragle uses Spore on first go. Then Belly Drum. IF you use belly drum and no damage has been done to smeragle, Subsitute until Salac Berry Takes effect.

Then pass the stats and baton to Blaziken. Keep enduring until 1 HP left, Salac Berry takes effect. Boom, Reversal plus a Belly Drum bonus. The whole team is gone.

This is again, unreiable. If you use this keep a party of tanks.

Using a Smeargle + Spore is a sad way of showing your team can't fight back ;(. And holding that berry just means anything with Lum/Chesto berry can OHKO it with ease.

But if...

Smeragle vs Pokemon A, and Pokemon A is slower than Smeragle and has no sleep immunity item/ability, then it must switch away before it dies. If the team has no sleep immunity Pokemon, or a Pokemon with sleep immunity yet is slower than Smeragle, then you pretty much won.

Use a UU team against Smeragle and you'll feel the pain ;p I got no one who can destroy Smeragle in one hit and is faster than Smeragle besides Swellow (both Electrode and Yanma can't OHKO it) o.o;

This is why I have the untaped power that is Ariados, I took off its HP Ground and gave it Spider Web, just so that I can beat the living daylights out of anything with sleep moves ^w^ *crazed laugh*
