    The Underleveled Challenge ! ~

Hi everyone ! This is a new challenge I came up with. It is very simple actually, it only has one rule. That is...

    1. No grinding.

That's right, no grinding. No battling wild Pokemon, only trainers. Battle wild Pokemon if you want to catch them. Otherwise, run.
Of course, the exceptions include : RSE's Poochyena/Zigzagoon, when you need to help Prof. Birch and the Starly you battle with your rival in DP.
Also, if you accidentaly knock wild Pokemon out, it doesn't count. But if it happens regularly, that is bad. ): I'll think of some "punishment" on it.
DO NOT LIE. Levels come naturally. It will be visible if you grind, then say you didn't. After all, you're lying to yourself.
No rematching trainers. That'd be cheating. This includes the E4 or Red.
Cheating : Only for two Pokemon at Lv. 2-3 on the first Route.

*in GSC/HGSS, it ends when you PWN Red. Let's see you do that. Haha...

*in RS, beat Steven. In E, beat Steven at the Meteor Falls.

Of course. But I forgot to mention that. *facepalm*

I'll give this a try, in Pokemon Red. Picking Bulbasaur, since Charmander would be hopeless and Squirtle was probably just get poisoned by a Bug Catcher's Weedle and die. Yeah, I'm planning a starter solo for a big part of the game, later I'll get something second, and that will have to be enough. Otherwise I'll fall too much behind.

    I knew you'd show up, modays ! :]
Well, I'm making some progress in Brown. I caught a Hitmonchan in the Patch, with my Bulba' fainting and my Doduo (slave) surviving.

Now I plan to challenge Karpman.

So far, I've already won the two probably hardest battles in this challenge for a long time, although they took some reloads.
First, the rival battle. Obviously, this is a pain, since Charmander has a superior attack in Scratch and less points in special, meaning it is physically stronger. Speaking of the rival, I just noticed I forgot to fight him west of Viridian. Damned.
Then, Brock's lackey. That damned Diglett killed me so many times, it's not even funny. Always when I thought I was winning, Scratch crit. Aaaargh.
Brock himself was easy, since Geodude posed no offensive thread and after beating it, Bulbasaur (which I accidentally didn't nickname yet) reached level 14 and learned Vine Whip.
Currently on my way to Mt.Moon, things are being a lot easier here, with Ivysaur being only a few battles away after beating Brock.

Alright, after some minor trouble with Team Rocket's Zubats in Mt.Moon, I got to Cerulean and easily beat Misty. Ivysaur is level 24 now, will that be enough for the upcoming rival battle? We shall see.

Okay, I am ABUSING the patch with high leveled Pokemon in Merson ! :)
I got a Hitmonchan and a Pidgey so far. The others killed poor Seedy (Bulbasaur, Lv. 13).
I had a hard time in Merson Cave. Got PWNd twice then remained without Vine Whip PP.
And the last guy in the game has Lv. 100s ;o;.

Okay, you're in, but please state if you're using HG or SS.
    As for my game...

    I reached Hayward City :

Seedy :x (Ivysaur) Lv. 18 Tackle, Leech Seed, Vine Whip, PoisonPowder
P.unch.eez (Hitmonchan) Lv. 20 Comet Punch, Agility.
PIKACRAP (Pikachu) Lv. 18 Thundershock, Thunderwave, Quick Attack, Growl
BIRD (Pidgey) Lv. 18 Gust, Quick Attack, Sand Attack

Patch of grass does wonders ! :]

Is there a rule about the vs seeker. That could easily be used to train pokemon.

Oops, I actually mentioned that in the CI&D, but forgot mentioning it here.
Added it now though. This also includes E4 or Red rematches, of course.

@ susanwell : Please post which game are you playing.
And if you meant that you can rematch the Elite Four or Red, no you can't.

I'll be doing this challenge. I think I'll do it on...... Silver

I would signed in last week, but I forgot :D

So, now I'm in Celadon with only one Pokèmon in team, thinking about the second and last of the team (except HM Slaves). Maybe Lapras.

I have 4 Badges, defeated TR in both Celadon and Lavender for now.
