4th Gen The useful phonebook?

Now we know that there are a lot of annoying phonecalls in the game and I've avoided taking numbers for this reason. Looking on Bulbapedia though there looks to be a few useful phone numbers to take.

Bird Keeper Jose	Route 27	 Gives away Star Pieces.
Bird Keeper Josh	Route 14	 Gives away Shiny Stones.
Bird Keeper Vance	Route 44	 Gives away Carbos.
Black Belt Kenji	Route 45	 Gives away PP Ups during random lunch breaks at noon.
Fisher Chris*/Tully*	Route 42	 Gives away Water Stones.
Fisher Wilton	 Route 44	 Calls during a Remoraid swarm, and gives away various PokéBalls.
Hiker Parry	 Route 45	 Calls during a Marill swarm, and gives away Iron
Lass Dana	Route 38	 Gives away Thunderstones.
Picnicker Gina	 Route 34	 Gives away Leaf Stones.
PokéFan Beverly	National Park	 Gives away Nuggets.
Schoolboy Alan	Route 36	 Gives away Fire Stones.
Sailor Huey	 Glitter Lighthouse	 Gives away Protein
Youngster Joey	Route 30	 Gives away HP Up.

We all know about Youngster Joey but is it worth taking these numbers for the items?

Joey and his stupid Rattata. Seriously...

Dana was my favourite in Crystal, with her Thunderstones. Giving away items was introduced with Crystal, right? I have no memory of that from Gold and Silver.

Wow, that list is pretty good. I'll make sure that I get all of their numbers in my phonebook. I think that its great that people in the game give you items. The only item I've ever got though was a nugget from Beverly.

I'd think it's a wise idea to keep these numbers on hand. The items alone come in useful, and those such as HP Up, PP Ups, etc save you a lot of money in the long run if you're EV training Pokémon. I already re-matched Youngster Joey with his newly evolved Rattata and got an HP Up after winning. 9800 PokéDollars saved? I think that's a good thing right there.

Plus, the extra Experience Points gained now that they're all levels stronger was a plus for training.
