OOC: I've managed to refurbish an old classic for actual use on PC, enjoy! 8D
"Feeling bored? Does your life seem lackluster? Do you need a change of pace? Try The Valiance resort. A bustling Vacation resort centered on some of the prime Coastline of California. This amazing vacation home is always in high demand, but for a limited time, a number of young persons will be allowed in free! For your chance to win a stay in the Valiance Resort, please send…"
This is but one of many flyers for the Valliance Resort; an always-full vacation resort in California. The reason that it's always full is that very few of its occupants are allowed to leave. Several years ago, Canada, The U.S., Mexico, and a number of minor South American governments made an agreement in the interest of science, to abduct slight portions of the population under the strictest of conditions for secrecy. Then, these unfortunate individuals are taken to facilities for modern experimentations to alter the person in many ways.
Upon the completion of the procedure, they are shipped to various resorts across the world, where the 'patient's' progress are monitored, and hopefully, released into their new life. In this case, we'll be following the progress of several patients at the Valiance resort in California, run by Gerald Vallin, and the best of the best in care and peacekeeping staff.
Our start however, is a little more unusual. Gathered as part of the test for an unusual new process, without consent, we are taken the resort, and to put it simply, our genders could have been changed, our ages altered, our basic status as entirely human, or any number of other modifications. Now, we find ourselves in a bit of a predicament, dumped off in the slums of the city, with no idea if the operation is damaging, or even fatal in the long term, we're left to sort things out ourselves.
