Have a series of Pokemon where they show Gary's adventures and have him have a hottie as his sidekick who doesn't whine all the time when she stops on mud. I'd start watching pokemon again if that happened--Because Gary so could have owned Ash back in the Indigo League but he was like "Oh, i need to feel soft, because i lost to Ash, i need to feel the innner-peace and the internal struggles that all of us pokemon trainers face raising the pokemon that i love."

I could see that as being a special or even a very short mini series. It's unlikely to happen, but Gary is an interesting character. I would like to have seen how he beat the gyms.

Yeah, I don't think they would make a whole series just dedicated to it. It would be interesting to watch, though.

There are a couple specials about this already and they don't look enough to get a series.

XD I like that description. Well, it surely would be interesting to have a series showing Gary and his adventures. Stuff like what Pokemon he catches, the trainers he meets, etc.

I, personally, enjoy May's whining personality. XD I find it humorous, actually. ^o^ But I do like your idea about following Gary around for a bit. (Tell me that didn't sound stalker-ish. XD)

They still make them, but they've only made the ones about him as a prof, and not as a trainer.

No idea who the hell May is, but if she's anything like Misty, then i suggest ash reads Ten Ways To Backhand That Woman Who Won't Shut The Hell Up. Gary was the best and his name wasn't some false German sounding name like Brock, who was like some tan chinky eyed charecter... or Misty who like... Whined alot.

Shigeru's seiyuu quit the show once he was out of the picture. I believe they had him come back one last time for the special and that was it. It was mainly due to the VA not having much of a role with Shigeru through out all of Pocket Monsters. And unlike American voice actors, the Japanese don't replace seiyuu as easily and quickly as possible. The only exceptions would be if the VA is taking a break, such as Musashi's seiyuu having to take a small leave due to her giving birth. She came back after a few episodes.

and that stretch would be AG85-92. As a matter of fact the VA that did Musashi(Akiko Hiramatsu) didn't sound a whole lot different from the original...

Indeed, I never noticed the change until someone brought it up. I have yet to see the Shigeru special, but from what I heard, his voice was rather off. So it could have been a temp. voice or the actual seiyuu who was off during recording.
