4th Gen Things that make me mad about this game

I don't like how every pokemon is two types. Charizard shouldn't be flying/fire! I also don't like how you can catch all the evolutions of pokemon in the wild, there's no point to evolving things. It also kind of annoys me that you have to have all the gameboy advanced games to get all the pokemon. Has anyone else ever thought this?

Not every Pokemon is two types, you can't catch every evolved form in the wild and it's actually pointless to "catch 'em all" (you essentially get nothing but bragging rights) when you don't want to, so it's not a problem that you don't own all the GBA games unless your really like a certain Pokemon and it isn't in any of the versions you have.

@ Birth-rock: It's nice to see mature people such as you at this hour.

This doesn't bother anyone else? Weird. Well, I'm sorry for making stupid points. Also, I was kind of exaggerating when I said "every pokemon is two types" and "you can catch all the evolutions". And, about the "catching 'em all" thing, I'm kind of strange, I don't really like to battle that much. All I do is collect all the pokemon. I've only been to battle tower a few times.

You're forgiven. The one thing that annoys me with the game is that the gyms are way to easy (or maybe my pokemans are too good)

Lolz the gyms are very easy, but your pokemons are probably too good too, he has one good point, Charizard should be fire/dragon

I dont think makeing sharazard another dual type was what he had on his mind

Every Pokemon has two types...That's what bothers you? You have got to be kidding me.

And of course the gyms are ridiculously easy; D/P is aimed for 3+ therefore the ingame challenges are a walk in the park. Come back with some better points please.

Yeah, you've got to realize, Nintendo has yet to focus Pokemon solely on the older generation. It's still directed towards kids, they just made a lot of concepts in the game more difficult and challenging for older players. The gyms are not one of these things, lol.

The only thing I don't like about D/P compared to past generations: Item bag. My bag is so unorganized! Where's the item storage system when you need it!?

I never seemed to use the item storage in other games, cause when I beat the Champion, after while, I went to my Item Storage, and guess what, I had a Potion in there! That from another game of course. This bag is a bottomless pit, except the underground, which Nintendo hated us and put a limit. I kept getting Sun Stones, and bag is full.

Charizard is a flying fire-breathing lizard. Doesn't it seem logical that since he FLIES and breathes FIRE, that he would be FLYING/ FIRE?

Catching the evolutions in the wild? That's just logic- as you go through the game, obviously the Pokemon will get stronger. And logically, they will be evolved.

You need to have all the Gameboy games? Someone's never heard of WiFi...

that and charizard has been fire/flying since Generation 1 so that really doesnt make sense. Nintendo does this to have their games prosper, so
If you really dislike things about the game why buy it?

My biggest pet peeves, in order are:

    • Limitless bag, no fast scrolling, and unable to deposit items.
    • Lack of fire types
    • Easy Gyms
    • E4 stays the same level, unlike FrLg.
Wtf? You don't think Charizard should have a flying type? That is certainly original.

I actually love the limitless bag. No more 'NO MORE SPAEC' messages when in deep caves.

What I don't like is that there's no PC storage system, meaning that bag gets cluttered up with useless crap pretty easily.

with the limitless bag i just gave all my pokemon in boxes items try that it will fix the problem

two types have goth ups ands downs and charizards second type allows it to kill fighting types eaisly but makes it x4 weakness to rock live with it.

The gyms are easy because you are stronger and they counter weaknesses like an electric gym having a water type.

like others have said POKEMON EVOLVE WHEN THEY GET STRONGER work the rest out

Why no underground bag that is limitless! That's what I need.
