So i am considering going to either of these games as i have finally gotten back into the series thanks to pokemon Y, however i am not sure if i really should go to them, as if i do go to them, im mostly going just for the johoto pokemon that are in there that cant be gotten in Y. It also seems that much more attention/love was given to this instead of X/Y so i am kinda jealous of that but, what do you guys suggest? I am somewhat casual of playing at the moment because i only recently got back into playing after a decade of being away.

Or if theres another way of getting legendaries as people done seem to want to trade them at all.

If you just want the pokemons I would try and trade them. You'll get there eventually. If you are worried about the storyline then I found it fun, but AS was my first Pokemon game.

Ive only ever played crystal and i dont really remember the stories of crystal that much to be honest.

They are really fun and a great addition to your Pokemon game collection, especially if you enjoyed X and Y. I would personally suggest you buy one of them! However, if you're hesitant, maybe see if one of your friends owns it and ask them to lend it to you so you can try it out and see if you'd like it.

Next time, please use the Quick Questions and Answers thread for stuff like this. Thanks!
