I have no evidence of this but I've noticed that every Generation they remake the game from two gems back:
1st gen - Nothing to remake
2nd Gen- Nothing to remake
3rd Gen- Remakes 1st Gen= FireRed/LeafGreen
4th Gen- Remakes 2nd Gen=Heartgold/Soulsilver
5th Gen?????????????????????????????????????????
Will there be a third gen remake?
