Now I've very recently gotten back into Pokemon, the last game I bought was Soulsilver (with the last one before that being Silver on the GBC). So when I heard about 3D Pokemon and the fact you could have a Kanto starter I realised I needed Y in my life.
Fast forward a couple of months and end up at last week, I finally break and buy myself a 3DS and Pokemon Y. I played through it a fair bit and beat the elite four last night.
...that's it? I remember Pokemon games lasting hundreds of hours and the Elite Four being something you had to work hard to beat. But now I'm left thinking about what else I can do? I need to catch Zygarde still but what else is left after? The game felt way too easy as well, there wasn't a gym leader that I struggled with and there wasn't anyway I got stuck on. It was a very easy Pokemon game, and for that it's disappointing.
Don't get me wrong it's a great game, and the presentation is absolutely flawless. But it feels like it's missing a chunk out of it, like a third of the game is missing?
I've heard rumours about Downloadable content and the inevitable Pokemon Z coming out, but is any of this true? I'm all for DLC for this game, but the idea of having bought a game that will be out of date within a year is rather annoying.
I know there are more event Pokemon coming as well as the Pokebank, but in terms of actually expanding this game world and adding more to the game such as mega stones, customisations, new regions, what would the likelihood be? I swear I read somewhere that Nintendo was looking at DLC for this game.
Personally I'd love an extra region with 8 more gyms, like what they did with Generation 2 where you could go back to Kanto. And more Mega stones, want to see a Mega Lugia!
