Thoughts on my Weavile?

Ok so I´m very new to the far-more-complicated-than-I-thought world of Breeding, and I was using an IV calculator( on Serebii for DP) when I noticed that my Weavile has IVs of 31 in HP, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def. and Speed.

(Weavile in question:
Level 52
Met at level 34
Gentle nature
154 HP
138 ATK
70 DEF
70 SP. ATK
121 SP. DEF
156 SPD)

I´m just wondering, if I used this Weavile to breed, would the offspring have even better IVs, or are they just random? (It´s female.. While I´m not very knowledgeable on breeding I know it has to be female if I want a Weavile back out of it.. well Sneasel :P )

Those aren't the correct IVs because he has gained some EVs too. After you defeat a Pokemon you get a certain amount of EVs and eventually four of those EVs heightens your stat. So until you know the correct EVs of your Weavile, then you don't know the correct IVs either. An easy way is to breed, then do a trade battle, or just rare candy it up.

If you didn't keep track of your EVs, you can always use berries to lower your EV points you've gained. That would also give you an accurate calculation.

but when you breed, u can breed the IV's into the newborn, i think it's 3 is the average IV's passed into the new born.
