Just something i noticed when i look at my pokemon that i imported from R/S/E it reads apparently arrived at level 100 after a long travel through time. now i wonder why this text reads different from pokemon that came from johto. Could this be a hint toward the time differences betwen games IDK what do you guys think

I'm curious, what does it say when a Pokemon comes from say Kanto or Johto

Yes, there is finally some solid evidence that the events of RSE and FRLG take place during the same time.
well no not really. it really could just be a literal reference that the pokemon travelled thru time since R/S came out in like 2003 and its now 2011 lol

with johto it just says arived from johto

What I don't get is why the games only mention Pokemon from Kanto and Hoenn as arriving "after a long travel through time", when the games take place at least a few years after Platinum/HGSS as well?

But yeah, even further confirmation that the Kanto/Hoenn games are contemporary is nice. :p

Again i dont think this is the case that fact that a pokemon from a 3rd gen game is getting transferd to a 5th gen game makes perfect sense why it would say that. But as for now maybe kanto/hoenn are contemporary but thats not to say it will not change when the remake is made which would make hoenn/unova contemporary leaving kanto by itself as the beginning point

I think it is simply a reference to the fact that the Pokémon were originally from a 3rd generation game, and has transcended time to be on a 5th generation game. this seems likely as the Orre based games are technically part of the third generation too.

If one thinks about it, we've never been able to own pokémon that have been from two generations before the current on a current Generation game. That's quite cool when you think about it.
