Tournament this saturday, need help!

Well, I have yet to ever competitive battle anyone seriously yet and I am deciding to start over from scratch.

So far I have decided on
Tyranitar-Tank/Physical sweeper

Umbreon-Wall/Baton passer

Poliwrath-mixed sweeper/toxic user


I am looking for a fire type that has a really good sp. defense

Please, argue people, I want some good debates on what the remainder of the pokemon should be.

Tyranitar is Adamant right?
Have you EVed them?

Magmortar can have 317 Sp.Def if you give it a Sp.Def raising nature and EV it.

I haven't actually caught any of these pokemon yet, I want to plan out natures, attacks, and such before I start training.
What would magmorter be considered as? a sp.sweeper?

Yeah, he'd be a Special Sweeper since he has a base Sp. Attack stat of 125.

Sp. Sweeper is correct.
You better get cracking soon.
Magmortar would be ok with Modest and 252 Sp.Atk EVs and having 252 Sp.Def EVs then it would have 383 Sp.Atk and 289 Sp.Def.

Along with Magmortar, I was thinking of adding in Bronzong to fix the teams weakness to fighting. Any opinions?

Whats wrong with the party you have on your trainer card?

Fighting is good against steel and even though Bronzong is Psychic it's so slow that most, if not all, fighting Pokemon will be able to land an attack before Bronzong could use a Psychic move.

Ok, I think I have the team figured out
Tyranitar,Umbreon,Poliwrath,Magmortar,Frosslass, and Aerodactyl.
If you think I should swap any please post

All of you pokemon do have the Dark type on them, and the only one that is good against them is Sableeye which is immune to Fighting types due to its Ghost tpye and just takes normal damage from bug types. You should change most of them to different types and not just Dark and another trait. Not all teams (Like Dark/Other type) can pull that off.
