    how do you trade pokemon with people? do you need wireless internet so that the Ds will pick it up? If it works can someone please give me something for my Haunter then trade back cause i want a gengar.....and also my kadabra cause i want an alakazam....thx
     
    first make sure your wireless works (check it out at the Global Trade Centre), then go to the trading board and make your offer again
     
    I'm pretty sure there is a guide in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl FAQ on how to trade trade-evolve Pokemon using the GTS. Also, you don't need another person to trade with. Here's a link to the guide.
