    Ok, im almost positive that i cannot trade pokemon from emerald to firered on an emulator. I have VBA, and it allows me to open the program twice, but is there a way to connect the 2 or is there a GBA emulator that does allow this. Thanks!
     
    You need an unoffcial 'link' version of VBA, you can find that on www.emulator-zone.com

    It requires to open two copies in order to 'link'

    It also has a feature to connect to an IP address but I wouldn't class that as safe, it can sometimes mess up your PC badly. Just stick with the one PC:D
     
    there is another way you can buy this gameboy card of ebay where it alows u 2 get a camra card put it in ur pc then download the rom onto it put the camra card in the gamboy card and play it buy two of them and u can trade between ur gba
