I didn't know where to post this without getting in trouble
And I'm playing Soul Silver so I figured I would post it here

I have some Pokemon that need training, and I was thinking
about battling the Elite Four till I lost, I have already spent
my money so that's not a problem

I just wanted to know if this is a good strategy or if there
are any immediate side effects of losing so much that I
should know about before I really get into training

    Thanks

it depends on how far into the elite 4 you can get. If you lose to the first guy, you won't get any money (might not lose any either, but that may just be cuz you don't have enough money to lose). if lose to the second guy, any money you just got will be paid back out.
If you can get all the way to Lance, then it might work, but it may take a while.

Weavile05, I don't think the OP's problem was earning or losing money, but more so just training his Pokémon. That said, I'd think since you're focus isn't about losing or earning more money, but solely on your Pokémon, then as far as it stands, you have nothing to lose but time. A lot of players challenge the Elite 4 multiple times to train their Pokémon. It's an easy and quick way of gaining some levels with some high exp. points. So, sure that method of training would be pretty decent for yourself.

More importantly, if you have any further questions related to HeartGold and SoulSilver, then please use our HG/SS Help Thread. That would be the more appropriate place to ask simple questions on the game(s).
