    Hi there, I'm new here.

    I'd like to ask you guys about things you do when playing Pokemon games. They can be from small quirks to major big-deals that affect your enjoyment of the game - name anything that you do unnecessarily that others might find odd.

    Mine personally, I have a lot of trouble when leveling up. My Pokemon all have to be the same level or I get somewhat uncomfortable. Sometimes, to avoid one Pokemon leveling up way higher than others, I will deliberately leave them out for a while, regardless of whether that one Pokemon will improve my chances in the next couple of battles.

    On the occasion I caught a Zapdos recently (went back to Yellow for a bit) it was level 50 and the rest of my team were 55. I found myself unable to put the game down until all of the numbers were 55 and fully healed, which took a couple of hours that I didn't really have to spare.

    OCD traits, I suppose. We all have them. How about you?

    Haha. XD I have sort of the opposite problem, I'm always saying things like "Oh, THIS time I'll wait till my whole team is lv. 55 or higher before battling the Elite Four" ... never, ever do. Too impatient.

    I do dislike using the in-game traded Pokemon in my Red game (Jynx, Seel, Farfetch'd, etc.), because a) they have silly names, and b) they're nicknamed in ALL CAPS, which bugs the heck out of me. They look so blocky and icky next to the other Pokemon, which have their nicks written out normally.

    Oh, and for some reason whenever the Nurse says "We hope to see you again!" I always find myself muttering, "Oh, you will."

    I absolutely have to have all my pokemon match the gym leader's levels before I even enter the gym and fight their subordinates. XD

    ...With E4 though, I don't care as much. o_0;

    I also tend to be overly prepared, having 50+ of any given healing item at any given time. XD

    -Gotta have my highest level Pokemon above the gym leader's highest level, at least by one, and everyone else either even with it or one below.

    -Must have Flamethrower. I don't care if I end up teaching it to an Octillery, somebody wil be learning Flamethrower. If no one's compatible, they better have Fire Fang or something at level one, otherwise they can't be on my team. And I'll cry.

    -For HGSS, it has too look good following me. I don't want a crappy sprite following me. I want something cute and lovable that I can fawn over. C:
