So, being the clumsy idiot I am, I ended up accidentally dropping my 2ds and ruined the screen. I ordered a replacement screen in hopes to fix the damn thing, but instead, the main menu goes insane as if someone is smashing random arrow buttons. I wind up damaging some of the gates on the motherboard, so the touch screen no longer works. Anyone have any idea on what I'm supposed to do right now? I really wanna transfer everything to my new 2DS, and I don't want to lose my EV team and all my save data for my other games.

System Settings -> Other Settings -> (3 Section: System Transfer)
Next time, be more careful with such precious device
Edit; In order to transfer, you need to use the stylus, but since it's damage. I'm pretty sure there's no much hope

Here's the thing though, I can't even use the touch screen. In the menu, as far as I am concerned, I can't even tap the buttons. I need to use the d-pad, and in the options screen, the d-pad does sweet FA

You probably need to tap the buttons to transfer as D/C-pad doesn't work on system setting

Tapped the buttons, they did nothing as well.

The gate that I presume connects to the touch screen is labeled P13 4. The top plastic part has come off, and I tried taping the wire directly to the metal prongs, but the touch screen would still not work. All I need to do is get this goddamn touchscreen to work and I can do the transfer.

If all else fails, you probably should just contact Nintendo support and see if you can hand the system in. If not, tell them you need a manual transfer performed. Keep your system serial codes and NNID on hand, if there is an NNID.

This will only transfer licence data if a manual licence transfer is required, mind you - all saves will be lost.

Thank you, will give them a call on Monday.
