Does anybody know if there is a way to transfer items from a generation 4 cartridge to my pokemon white cartridge?

5th Gen transferring items to black/white?

There isn't. If you try to transfer Pokémon with a hold item, the items will be transferred back to your 4th generation bag.

Dang. I need some evolution stones for my eevees. Is there a way to get extra stones on white?

You can see the locations of the evolutionary stones within Black and White here. :) The earliest you'll probably find is at Castelia's port.
