Triple & Rotation Battles

With the advent of 5th Generation also came about the concept of Triple and Rotation Battling. Inspired by seeing what I believe to be the first official triple battle between three Maractus and Pikachu, Tepig, Snivy it got me thinking.

If there are farther Triple Battles how would you like to see them handled? As in would you like to see one Trainer vs. one Trainer they use Three pokemon each, or have three trainers vs. three trainers each commanding one pokemon. If farther Triple battles occur who do you want to see take part in them and what pokemon would you like to see apart of the battles?

As for Rotation battles there a bit different then Triple battles, yes they involve three pokemon but there's different in mechanics as in one pokemon in one position can only attack the pokemon adjacent too or diagonally facing or if the pokemon is located in the middle they have free reign. To me this would lead to a battle that would require at least some basic strategy to it if it plays out like it does in the games. But since the anime is clearly different in terms of many things including battling how do you think these Rotations Battles would play out? And would you be interested to see them in action?

Running out of ideas?

Eh, the only problem I can really see with implementing Triple and Rotation battles into the anime would be that it would look and seem very messy and hard to following, seeing as they work so well in the games because it follows a lot of turn taking. Though the anime, does follow the normal turn taking to some degree, if it were in the triple or rotation battle in the anime, then it would probably be very boring. I'd probably guess we'll see an episode dedicated to each style of battling, or probably both in one. We might see them again a few times in certain episodes though, and maybe during those movie openings.

Not really since I had this in mind for at least a month, just didn't get around to posting it.

If there is a Triple battle it would be nice to see it coordinated between 3 different trainers to see how well they would work together kind of like the Tag tournament in Hearthome. If there is a Triple Battle and it's one on one I'd like to see Ash and his pokemon best Roggenrola(for defense), Tranquill (many as aerial vs. aerial), and Scraggy(just to see what he brings to the table), or sub Scraggy with one of the three starters. If it's Three on Three then I would like to see Scraggy, Dwebble, Axew.

And yeah I don't know how well the dynamics would work for either since as you said it is rather turn based. Or if they follow the game to a tee it would be a pain to implement. I'd like to see it where the pokemon each implement what they are good at and work to each other strengths.
