You can map Johto if you like. There isn't much done there. Let me know ASAP when you complete a map so I can update the thread.

Ok, I thought I'd Let everyone Know this project is being restarted. I'm now making it on RMXP so this thread is now obsolete.
 
Dude you restarted it now I won't be able to play this game ;(
 
I'm sorry everyone, but this is the only way for it to work.
Progress is doing well. I've mapped alot of the outside of Kanto.
You have seen the problems we are encountering with ROM hacking.
RPG maker doesn't have the limitations that ROM hacking does, and the ROM hacking team just lacked the experience needed to actually progress into further stages. We lack tiles and scripts. All we were getting were mappers. I mean, mapping isn't exactly the hardest thing in the world. We could have managed with about 8 dedicated mappers - 2 per Region.

As well as that, the project was just very un-organised. I had people applying and getting accepted, but never doing work. You must be dedicated if you want to help. Now, if anyone can get this whole project back in order and sort out a team, then we may be able to continue as a ROM hack, but for now, I will be working solo for the moment on RMXP.

I have to. 'Im not completely abandoning it. When I finish my new project, I will return, but for now, I'm putting it on hold.
