So I went to a person's profile, here at PC and all of a sudden a dialogue box came up asking for my username and password to what I assume was Twitter the message itself said:

A username and password are being requested by https://www.twitter.com. The site says: "Twitter API"

Wasn't the twitter addition a recent thing? If so, this dialogue box might become annoying. Especially if it occurs to those who do not use Twitter (and thus are not logged in).

    Thanks.

Seeing as how Twitter has really nothing to do with PC, it doesn't matter if the person wasn't here for a few days, or a few years. If they protect their updates on Twitter, it'll reflect how you see their updates on any other site, regardless of where it is. It'll toggle a popup asking for your information, as you can see. If you have access to their information on Twitter (therefore, follow them, since they have to accept your follow) and input your information for Twitter there, you'll have access to their updates.
