Ultimate Pokemon Game?

There would be needing to be some work done but I think it would be loads of fun since most people seem to finish the games in such a sort amount of time.

I actually just posted a thread about this the other day. It would never happen for several reasons:

  1. If your Pokemon reach level 100 by the middle of the 3rd region, then you can't level up anymore.
  2. Game Freak makes more money selling the games one region at a time.
  3. It would be difficult to fit all 5 regions in one game on one cartridge due to file size restrictions.
  4. It would be a far too time-consuming project for them to even consider it.
  5. All regions have already been featured in at least one game series, and they have already established a pattern of remaking earlier generations. They won't use the Kanto and Johto regions a third time.
 
I think the only way it could work would be if you were forced to start out with new Pokemon upon entering each new generation. In which case, you might as well just buy each separate game. Ignoring how time consuming it would be to make it and how boring it would get to play it after a while, if you didn't start over with new Pokemon in each region... you would end up with seriously over powered Pokemon and going through each region would just become boring.
