Hello And Welcome To Umbreon And Espeonage And Co. I Tried To Be Clever With The Title Because Espeonage=Espionage. Well. This Is My Sprite Thread. As You Might Of Guessed It Is Just To Do With Umbreon And Espeon But If Many People Vote In The Poll For Me To Do Other Pokemon I Will And Also I Will Get The Title Changed!

most are very nicely done, but the way you colourd the espidoom/houndeon looks kinda odd, and i tihnk you need to stop the head from looking like its deformed into the body :_: if you et what im saying?
aklso, the dragonairs tail needs to be blended in better...
but apart form that, awesome work! you've improved! cant WAIT to see more! : D

Well Furanki. I Took Your Idea Into Consideration But Something Just Looks Odd About This One. I Think It Might Be The Outline Or Where The Tail Connects To The Body *It Is Meant To Be Hiding The Leg If You Wondered*. And Mazil. I Know What You Mean About The Houndeon Thingy. I Messed Up The Head Little But It Doesnt Really Matter. He Looks Like He's Been In An Accident^^

You really need an "Up to you, it's your thread" option on that poll. It probably is an interesting idea to do just two Pokémon.

Anyway...

Espeon/Raichu: You didn't erase Espeon's tail properly, there is still some purple left on Espeon's right back leg and ear, and the Raichu tail should be higher up (where the original tail was). Also, the highlighting on the tail comes from the wrong direction.

Espeon/Murkrow?: Espeon still has purple outlines, and the feather-hat is spliced on very weirdly, like it's in front of the ear somehow. o_O Also, that highlighting on the hat doesn't really belong there.

Espeon/Houndoom: The shading on the body looks really weird - you have these kinda reddish dark grays for the highlight and base color, but then randomly the shadows are more greenish, and not a lot darker than the base color if at all. There's plenty of purple left on Espeon as well.

Espeon/Dragonair: Yet again, Espeon still has a couple of purple pixels. The main problem with this one, however, is that the tail and the body aren't spliced together at all - it looks like a blue tailless Espeon that happens to be walking in front of a random sticking-out Dragonair tail. Blend the base of the tail better with Espeon, and if I were you I'd give it Dragonair's white underbelly as well so the viewer doesn't start wondering why the downside of the tail is randomly white.

Espeon/Dewgong: Definitely the best, although I think it would have looked much better as a mix with Dewgong's white colors. The tail is blended in pretty nicely here. However, you don't appear to have recolored the blue in the tail and horn's outline, and some parts of the Espeon's black outline seem to be gray for some reason. o.O

Umbreon/Sceptile: The tail looks very pasted on; why have you got the base of the tail somewhere in front of its legs? As with the Raichu one, the tail should be higher up, too. There is far to little difference between the shadow color and the base color; it looks unshaded unless you zoom in.

A general problem with all of them, however: you can't just put a Pokémon's tail on an Espeon, recolor it in that Pokémon's colors and call it a mix. You should put Raichu's cheeks on Espeon (they're too big, but make some from scratch - they're just circular areas, after all!), probably the ears too, and give it the stripes and white underbelly. Give the Espeon/Murkrow a feathered tail or a beak or something, or at least red eyes. Put a dog snout on the Espeon/Houndoom and put those bone ridges on. Give the Espeon/Dragonair some more sapphire orbs here and there on its body or something. And so on - see what I mean? Mix them together better. Hardly doing anything except recoloring and switching the tails is just boring. You could make much more interesting sprites if you just did something with them.

These are pretty simple edits. Do something complicated. I mean, try mixing using Sceptile as a base. Sure, 10 of the same poke'mon as mixes are ok, but, it needs something harder to do. Slapping on a tail and recoloring isn't very hard. And on Sceptile, Umbreon, somethings wrong about the coloring, but I can't put my finger on it. And you need to make the yellow lighter.

Hmm..they need a little bit of work.
First try coloring the outline,not just leaving it as espeon or umbreons.
An the secptile.umbreon needs more shading.
