    for my umbreon:
    *DO NOT suggest offensive moves, umbreon has bad sp. attack,even with calm mind, so i will use it as is. i just need to decide between substitute and moonlight. thanks in advance.

    Tank/Baton Passer/toxictrapper
    ------------------
    Umbreon: Bold with leftovers
    EVs:252 HP, 129 Def, 129 Sp Def

    Meanlook[to trap]
    Baton Pass[if the situation gets tough]
    Toxic[sit and wait while leftovers kick in]
    Substitute/Moonlight [help me decide!]

    Uh, sorry man, it's hard to read, I ran the mouse over it, and found the set is cut off, I can't read it all.

    I think,that Moonlight is better for this Umbreon.

    If ya got Lefties, Moonlight may not be as needed, especially since Substiture will prevent ya from getting inTOXICated XD

    Yeah,that?s right,but Moonlight gives you much more HP than Lefties.I think that Moonlight is some kind of emergency brake :)

    Faint Attack/ Pursuit is good for taking out ghosts, even withits dismal SpAtk power

    Moonlight is good
    IMO Charm is something worth considering over Toxic since you can lower somethings attack and then pass it to something and kill it without taking much damage.

    Rest, it works better for toxic stalling because u cant get aafflicted with status ailments and if u do u just rest

    Hmmm, that is true as well. And it restores all HP. ~\Ethereal_Knight/~, maybe you should look into that.

    Rest leaves you open for 2 focus punches which would result in a K.O.

    Mean Look is only going to work with Taunt. The only sets you should use are the following:

    -Mean Look
    -Taunt
    -Baton Pass
    -Moonlight/Wish
    @Leftovers
    Trap the foe and taunt roar/whirlwind/yawn/recovery moves/anything else.

    -Wish
    -Protect
    -Baton Pass
    -Toxic/Substitute
    @Leftovers
    Use 0 speed DV and negative personality (relaxed) so you will pass Wish without the baton passee being hurt. That's why you need Baton Pass. If you want to use Toxic, this is the set you should use it on.

    -Curse
    -Taunt
    -Baton Pass
    -Moonlight/Wish
    @Leftovers
    BP to a fast sweeper with a White Herb to cancel the speed decrease but keep the attack and defense boost. This is really useful for Aerodactyl. This set can also be used on a BP team. In general though, don't use this.

    I don't think sub is even an option on your Umbreon considering it needs a healing move. You can't toxi-trap without one. I still wouldn't recommend toxi-trapping with Umbreon. It won't work well because Taunt needs to accompany Mean Look (assuming your opponent knows what Roar is). My best suggestion would be for you to use the Wish passing set if you absolutely need Toxic. Otherwise, go with the first set. If neither of these work for you, pick a different poke. Take care.

    why not go with meanlook/wish/protect/toxic? when the situation gets tough bp to curselax or skarm

    thanks dragonking, those sets are more than respectable. i like them a lot. i'll seriously consider using taunt. i appreciate your help.

    As I mentioned above, Mean Look doesn't work on the wishpassing set because Taunt is vital. Since many Umbreon know Mean Look, your opponent will send out a pseudo hazer (roar/whirlwind) if they don't have a fighting poke. Taunt prevents that Skarmory or Suicune from messing you up.
