    And the question is: How do I get past Route 8 in winter?

    I just came out of Icirrus (I would have a picture but it won't let me post it for some reason). There is no way to get to the former Surf area to the north. How do I get there?

    Slide on the ice, sort of like in an Ice-type gym (ie; Candice, Pryce, Brycen), and have lots of patience. Eventually, you'll master it, and it'll be a big part of your daily commute across Unova.

    You surf in that pond near the "former surf area" and from there you turn your player to the east and then go back to shore and you should slip there
    Hope this helps...it's kind of hard to explain...
